PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

It's a crazy situation and the time taken is ridiculous in the extreme.

I have no doubt we have not broken the rules but IF our evidence is "irrefutable" the timeline is just wrong.

Whichever club is accused of breaking FFP, the investigation/punishment/not guilty verdict should be completed quickly and efficiently for the good of everyone and the whole process should be public and transparent.
“Quickly, efficiently……..transparent.”
Do you believe in Father Christmas?

The more I read about the FFP rules and City being in the Dock with UEFA and now the Premier League the more I think this whole process is a buggers muddle plain and simple. The old established elite clubs who asked for this were no doubt expecting City to be taken down a notch or two and the path would be clear for them to continue their success of the 80s, 90s and noughties. Not so. And instead, the old established elite have watched UEFA piss in their own chips and now the PL are faced with a tribunal process that could last until 2027 before anything meaningful will come of it. Whilst the private process goes on City should continue to succeed in the PL and Europe..

The buggers muddle that is FFP has had the opposite effect on City. We have become stronger, more resilient and financially very stable.

UEFA and the PL have totally under estimated City's leadership team. Their arrogance has been their downfall. UEFA and PL, both incompetent bureaucracies, have been hectored into this buggers muddle by the old established elite.

The tectonic plates have shifted and the old established order is gone as we know it. City are the best club in the world right now. Who would have thought this when we were playing Macclesfield Town home and away in the late 90s.

UEFA and the PL have picked on the wrong club. We are not typical City anymore.
Nobody ever mentions the fact that we did the double over Macclesfield without conceding.

I guess it's a double whammy of us having provided mountains of evidence that they have to go through with a fine tooth comb because if they don't do so rigorously and miss something, either the cartel will smash them as unfit for purpose, or we will smash them on a given point, or for not following due process.

Interestingly, while we may feel that it continues to give other fans and the media a stick to beat us with, it also continues to provide the cartel with a distraction into which they focus some of their energies instead of their own success.(And Let's face it, they need every ounce of effort they can get at present).

Keep pinning your flag to that false hope, suckers!

I think they’ve accidentally played their part in making us what we are now. Wonderful !

This is all politics.

Any rational individual can see that the Premier League stands next to no chance of proving the charges against City, but having painted themselves into a corner, with the eyes of the football world upon them, the League can't be seen to back down. So millions will be spent over the next few years to arrive at the inevitable conclusion, that there's no substantive evidence to back the charges up.

Of course, by that time the present runners and riders in this Premier League fiasco will have retired to their yachts and country estates.

For now the existence of the charges is enough, it drives the cheating narrative, but eventually this farce will come to an end, with the charges not proven, City will be exonerated, but without fanfare and sprinkled with ifs and buts.

The "trial of Manchester City" will come to a close one day, but not without doing what it was designed to do all along.

Dipper media again resurrecting the "Dippers are watching with interest " bollocks , what do they think will happen ? the history books will be changed and they will be awarded a couple of titles from a period were we were not even under investigation . Correct me if i am wrong but arent the charges between 2012 and 2018 , they bottled their title challenges after this period. Dreamers

Our commercial rivals are desperate to secure an outcome they cannot possibly achieve with the evidence they have and the regulatory tools at their disposal.

To do what City are alleged to have done would've required the co-operation of a large number of individuals and high ranking executives in sizeable corporations and accountancy firms, all knowingly and seamlessly engaged in a criminal conspiracy, over a considerable period of time.

The Premier League knows this.

Nevertheless they proceeded.

These 115 charges are a testimony, not to the seriousness of our crimes, but the seriousness of the challenge we pose to the business model of those clubs that really run the game.

Problem is arseholes will argue that is when we built the foundations for future success so it is relevant ie Tevez led to yaya led to silva led to Sergio……led to Harland. Sooner it’s done with the sooner we can stop the smug bitter wankers snipping.

The best interests of all parties/justice is served by taking the required amount of time to present and examine all the evidence.

Applying an arbitrary timeline to it absolutely goes against this.

Correct a venomous fan base who hide years of hooliganism and death under a banner of being innocent bye standers as the woke society we now live in refuse to critise or challenged them !
