It's all very weird now. I'm not backing the guy up, but he's been dropped by Brazil and now can't play for his club team due to, at present from what I can see, unsubstantiated (?) claims by his girlfriend. We're obviously hanging him out to dry on here, but in reality he's not even been charged with an offence yet (unless I've missed something on Facebook/Instagram/Tiktok/X).

I hope he takes the time off to sort out his fucking hair. He needs to take a few of his team mates along with him as well.

It isn't just his girlfriend. 2 other women have made complaints. 2 different countries and therefore 2 different police forces are now investigating. Add to that, it appears that united arranged for a private doctor to treat one of the women whilst she was in a Manchester hotel. That is not to say united did anything wrong, all football clubs employ people to pander to a footballers needs 24/7, but it does tend to back up the accusation that she was injured. How ? only time will tell but following on from Greenwood and even Giggs, it is shit they do not need so they are distancing themselves.
Don't forget, if he is charged and convicted, a decent reporter might just ask if united bought him knowing about the allegations. (The rumours is they did) That's £80 mill down the pan.

It’s been so joyful to watch them imploding on the pitch the last decade - terrible managers, shocking players and spending over a billion pounds to achieve absolutely nothing. That isn't the point I was answering.
Malg stated it was one unsubstantiated claim from one woman. I pointed out it isn't. It's 3. Further, you may think he should be allowed to play, united are the ones making the decision. They have to think about reputational damage. Greenwood has only just left the country and under an enormous cloud. They now have 3 woman, 2 alleging assault, one alleging assault and attempt rape. Further, there is an allegation they helped cover up one of the assaults.
If they play him the bad press will continue, if they don't they gain some breathing space.
It doesn't matter what you or me think, it's what sponsors and the money men think.
