A mess?
Not knowing which division you’d be in the following season on the first day of a new season and not, in a hopeful way, is being in a mess.
Having one of your players voted as the most important man in a millennia because he scored an own goal is in a mess (though it was funny)
Having Peter Swales as a chairman is in a mess.
Being 2 nil down to Gillingham with only minutes left is in a mess. ( okay my boy and Mr Dickov sorted that one)
Stuart Pearce‘s attacking policy when he’s your manager is in a mess.
The third tier is in a mess.
BIFFO’s, Yonners and Stockport taking the piss after they’ve beat us is a mess.
Having only 17 fans at an away game in York is in a mess. ( it was me and 16 mates in a half full chara - the rest of you are fucking liars - and we got in late, then left 10 minutes early as we’re all proper Blues)
Dealing with a mess?
Living through and laughing at the total absurdity of it all.
Realising that no matter how shite it got we would still keep stumping up our hard earned.
Having a sense of humour - no matter how bad it got.
