Again I am not religious in any way you could point at many things couldn't you?
It’s just I’ve never seen you decry The Bible (which is in just about every school in the land and taught to kids from age 3-4h being shoved down kids throats (especially given the fact it’s been done by hundreds of actual nonces). It’s odd, given how triggered you were by the other book, I’d have thought this was your wheel house.

Not really mate I just find the porn in school bit a little off putting for me, maybe it's my age maybe I am wrong but it's the way I see it.

I'd remove ALL religion away from children at school and wouldn't argue it's freedom to infiltrate schools has given wrong 'uns and nonces access to young minds and bodies in a lot of cases unhindered.

I have always criticised the bible, and of course all religions. And rightly or wrongly I am still saying that we need to keep pornography out of schools kids have enough time for porn when they are adults.

That's my honest opinion.

  1. The views of Jesus are now seen as woke and too left/liberal

I would go further than that and say religionhas shit the bed wherever it has festered.

I agree with much of that but that book isn’t porn, it’s a memoir - it’s not my cup of tea but I understand why the respected author chose to write it.

It’s also important to know what age kids were being given access to that memoir. Were they 6? That’s too young. Were they 16 (when they’ve probably already watched every type of porn online)?

I absolutely understand what you're saying but IMHO it's too much, maybe life is moving too quickly for me maybe porn isn't what it used to be.

Too many ideologues in positions of responsibility replacing the rotten ideologues that are leaving quite rightly stage left.

Just as an aside thanks for the reasoned response instead of a blank "Believe what I believe or your bad" it's a dying skill.

I'll take that last line as a dig at me.

I believe I was responding more than reasonably to your post that the book, being quoted out of context was 'pornographic', and that 'porn was being pushed onto kids at school by nonces'.

I was stating that the book is a memoir, a work of literature, and should be viewed as such and that it is not in any way shape, or form pornographic material. You kept claiming it was, along with more references to nonces.

At which point I became so exasperated with your obtuseness, that I regrettably resorted to calling you an imbecile.

Porn is DEFINITELY not what it used to be, on a variety of levels.

If it's in a school library, I wonder which pages look the most well-thumbed.

Because it's pornographic and shouldn't be in schools? If you watched the video and came away with the feeling that it's suitable for a school library then it says a lot about you.

29 districts in the US banned it and it's the second most banned book in US history where schools are concerned.

This page even says the book isn't suitable for children, simple concept really keep pornography out of schools and stop nonces from exploiting children, call me old fashioned but hey ho.
Ffs, what is the world coming to if people like you want to stop children reading porn, and gaining 3rd hand anal experience. ;-)

Can't take the bible out of schools, we got hours of laughs out of that book as kids, hours that we would have been messing around and misbehaving in otherwise.

Trump saying all the things his lawyers would suggest he should definitely not say.

At the trial there will likely be 2 fundamental points the prosecution will hammer home on:

1. He was not allowed/authorised to have those documents. This will be easy to prove and not knowing the law does not exempt you from any law.

2. He deliberately and actively sought to avoid handing them back. Again this will be easy to prove although the only defence will be throwing everyone else under the bus. Even assuming he adopts that defence a jury can just conclude he's a liar and that he was making all the calls. Again easy to for the prosecution to paint that picture.
