That same day a supporter was killed at Birmingham City v Leeds Utd following serious crowd disorder. Can't even remember who the lad supported. At any other time it would have been a major news story but thanks to the terrible events at Bradford was almost overlooked. To my shame I was so euphoric over the Charlton match I had little interest In anything else. It has always surprised me that the Valley Parade tragedy does not receive the same coverage as Hillsborough.
I think that’s largely due to Bradford viewing the tragedy as something personal to the survivors, the relatives of those who died and the town. I’m obviously not privy to their thinking but it’s always seemed to me that they’re comfortable with how they remember that day and don’t covet a huge media presence.

Tbh I think Rodri is our best player of last season and this to date, better even than Erling. He is THAT good
Rodri (now Rodrigo ?) is undoubtedly City's most important player.
Pep needs to be careful though, that he doesn't drain him dry. He is so important to Spain as well - no wonder the poor bugger looks like he's had the world's toughest paper-round...

Might be a bit controversial for some on here but after a number of years of mainly negative press/media I think the tide is turning there seems to me more positive comments than negative at the moment, I personally think we have crushed them into submissions.

can only sound stupid for so long and now praised through gritted teeth then move on

What happened at the match tonight with the minutes silence / booing or some noise ?
It was impeccable for 40 seconds then there a shout from away end followed by some more noise which ended up with the outraged booing making it worse, ref was slow in blowing whistle

The prize of winning the CL. There is nothing left to prove. Having said that, if the PL charges aren't defended, they will back baying for blood.

Dont normally listen to Talkshite they are basically wind up merchants ,but was in a taxi and it was on this morning Simon Jordan and pigeye Murphy drolling on about how we will never be as big as the Dippers or Rags , Jordan even saying when Sheik Mansour gets bored we will be back in the third tier of football looking for another Paul Dickov
What makes me chuckle is its the Rags & Dipper apoligists who keep on spouting the shit about how City will never be a big club , it appears to bother them far more than our supporters and that is because realistically we are on course to match them in the next decade.Young kids are buying City shirts , i went to Costa Del Sol last week and there are loads of kids wearing City shirts and there are a lot more Haaland shirts in the tourist shops than Salah or Fernandes or any Rag'Dipper players.
Personally i couldnt give a f*ck , ive supported my team through the bad times and i am living the dream , the likes of Pigeye and Pretty boy Jordan have probably never paid for a match ticket in their lives , they take their pieces of silver not for their genuine opinions but to follow an agenda Talkshite give them , they havent got an ounce of credibility and tow the line or they do not get paid , morally bereft pair of f*ckers.

Did they ? It all looked pretty routine to me. If Haaland had been on it, it could have been 7 or 8. The only concern for me was the number of sly late tackles committed by their players (ignored by the ref) which looked like deliberate attempts to injure.
It was an absolute walk in the park. Anyone watching that game who thought that it was a battle is a fool. We'll face tougher tests, and we may not win it all again, but last night was not one of them.
