3 ganging on him and no support no one running behind their full backs , no overlapsOpponents have rumbled Doku. Time to take him out of the firing line.

To be honest i thought wed hit stride v forest last week. With 11 men we were superb that game.Personally I don’t think we’ve looked at our normal level this season, even with the six wins and our usual tendency to start slowly.
Newcastle at home was our best performance, but we haven’t clicked yet and a number of players look below their usual level, most obviously Haaland although he’s not alone in that.
Too early to judge the transfer window but we had to replace a phenomenal player in Gundogan, and a very talented one in Mahrez, and we also needed to buy a top class midfielder in addition to rotate or play alongside Rodri.
Not convinced we’ve ticked those boxes to be honest and at the moment we look like we’ve bought players who look good when we’re on song, but who struggle to change a game when we’re struggling. Certainly miss Gundogan’s ability to chip in with a goal.
Perhaps we needed to be a bit more ambitious with our midfield signings and although I’m not arsed about missing out on Rice, the fact we put a bid in for him suggests to me that we didn’t really have our ducks in a row this summer.
Thought it before the game. You know we sucked when someone is moved to post this.
;)
Trust me; he said it. I was staggered when I saw it.Ha ha, don’t think even City play 3 games in 7 days too often.
Listened to the second half. Not enough chances created it seems but the guy should have been sent off.
Yer could put any of PiGMOL's finest here and I'd agree with you.Pawson.
****!!!
That is all.
His end product was poor but he managed to beat his opponent at times. Grealish couldn’t even beat his man despite coming on late. All in it was just a weird game. There was no chance of going through the middle so our wide players had to be better. He was completely ineffective on the left too today.
We didn't look like a top team today mate, the goals were poor ones to concede.both wolves goal had large elements of luck
I disagree with you completely, in the last ten minutes when playing on the right he made at least three runs into the middle escaping at least one Wolves players and then connecting with other City players.Opponents have rumbled Doku. Time to take him out of the firing line.
Which is even worse given possession we had, no ideas what to do with it except cross it into the box straight to a wolves defender or the keeper -says it all when our only goal came from a set piece!Wolves Xg 0.51 - us 0.90
which suggests it was a game of few decent goal scoring opportunities created for either side. Which was the case.
I didn’t expect us to lose, but that aside, I agree with the rest. Was looking forward to seeing spurs beat liverpool but a bit less enthusiastic about following that game now.Well here's our usual slow start to the season turned up. I actually didn't expect us to have so many points on the board although on paper the fixtures have been kind.
I kind of expected us to lose today. Shitty weather, hostile atmosphere when they're on it, key players missing and a few recent signs we're a bit frazzled.
Fucked the next few days up as I'll have to avoid anything football related as the hysteria by the media will be in overdrive.
No team can afford to lose world class players like KDB, Stones, Bernardo and Rodri and not suffer a bit. When the fuck are Stones and Bernardo coming back?? They seem to have been almost ready for ages.
If the dippers drop points we are still top. I can't say I'm looking forward to Arsenal though.
