Just had a look at its at selected Everyman cinemas from tomorrow but a venue a night for 4 nights. He's touring soon so whether it will get a wider release I don't know. I expect it will turn up as a special on the TV at some point.

Hoping it's decent and does well for him. It's one thing being diy making garage but doing it for a film, apparently he was still editing it on his computer last week!

There Will Be Fireworks are releasing a new album in november, after 10 years. New song off it below.

To be fair, that 'sound' has been done to death now and it is nothing special any more. But 15 odd years ago it was interesting and I quite enjoyed seeing them live, so I will look forward to it. One of their older songs below.

It is funny, it feels like they were almost too early to that whole scene. And then they missed one beat and within the blink of an eye they were too late to it, as it exploded and became saturated.

Their side project is slightly different and possibly more interesting, with an obvious 80s throwback.

Lovely remix of The Black Delta Movement’s ‘Fourth Pass Over The Graveyard’ by UNKLE.

There’s a new EP called ‘In Acetate’ coming out in November with three new tracks and two remixes from the album (including this^).

I was disappointed with The Coral’s two new albums released last month, but been listening to this a great deal… class song, class artist!

New album is out in January next year, looking forward to it.
I’m a Johnny come lately to the Coral but enjoying their recent stuff and exploring the back catalogue.

Also listened to some of Ryder-Jones earlier work on the back of this being posted the other week

Don't know if it's been mentioned at all, but Metallica's latest offering, 72 Seasons, was released in April.

For me the best thing they've done since ...And Justice For All and possibly the closest thing they've written to a proper thrash record since Kill Em All.

Well worth a listen if you're into your metal and haven't heard it yet (realise that is a very small subset of people).

decent recommendation, i'll give it a listen. love their first three albums (RIP Cliff) and not really given them much of a listen in a long time

Newish band from Portsmouth formed in 2021 …

starting to get some good gigs in London and on south coast , looking for potential gigs in Manchester or this way up ..

I used to be in this band but being a dad of a toddler and being old has put paid to that lol ..

Sort of acting as a manger for them atm.

Fans of post punk and psyche might like it.

Sierpinski- straight jacket

Really like this…kinda shoegazey BRMC meets Fontaines
