He’s 56. So he wouldn’t have been going into Tory clubs and bars until the very late 80’s early 90s

Now those signs and ones like them became illegal in 1965, so is it realistic they were still up in a Conservative Party club 25 years later?

We now know the infamous “No dogs, no blacks, no Irish” sign never existed, I suspect the same is true of this. Maybe it was at some other men’s club he was a member of, but I don’t think one attached to the Conservative Party would have that up given the risks if it got out.

Just called into say that as well as being completely unhinged Penny Mordaunt looks like absolute shit for a 50 year old. Especially compared to what she looked like last year.

There are chain smoking 50yr old grannies on council estates that look in better shape than that.

Essentially, they seem to be promising HS2 money to the schemes that have been in Transport for the North's wish list then are already going back to the same position as before - "we'll see".

I suspect the "Metrolink airport extension" goes back to a fanciful idea of extending from the airport to Mobberley and Knutsford. Fanciful because it would need to tunnel under both runways....
