To answer properly, there are different levels of breech.

The original idea of ffp as planned by Platini was to deal with debt, which he thought was damaging and corrosive to clubs. He considered it grossly unfair that certain clubs could play in and win uefa tournaments while carrying huge debts. He mentioned the rags and Chelsea.
The ffp we have obviously bears no relation to that ideal, and concentrates on revenue streams, of which the elite clubs have many more than some others, and spending related to those streams which the elite clubs do plenty of.
What changed their minds?

It’s not possible. The PL could only demote us from their league.

Not in an EU one, but all leagues and competitions are invitational, so if you don’t sign up to the rules, you don’t get an invite.

The next Premier League broadcasting rights negotiations might prove a bit challenging if the Champions of Europe are playing in another league...

I’ve got mates who’d come back to being season ticket holders if that happened, all the glory hunting tossers would be history and it would be great for the novelty of it all while we rise back up the leagues with the Skeikh and Khaldoon still at the reins.

Time we ransack the rag trophy cabinet and took away their last erm league cup for blatant cheating. They already have more money than everyone else but it’s still not enough for the morality squad.

Failed ffp due to overspend so I want that league cup taken away! Can’t even cheat properly.
