He seems to have forgotten that you can get away with huge lies and obfuscation with parliamentary privilege and a mob of baying cretins behind him, but he folded pretty quickly when faced with angry public.
He was a great example of the kind of complacency and arrogance of the current Tory party.
The good thing is that complacency and entitlement will lead to their ultimate downfall.
 
Tories are not just corrupt,heartless vermin, they are so incompetent it defies belief. But mostly they are horrible selfish scum. I have to give them credit for their ability to convince so many thick working class Gammons, to vote for them and ensure we are stuck with the bastards. I truly wouldn’t be surprised if England voted them in again next year.

With any government you are not going to get everything you want, and governing is a difficult job at the best of times, results from policy changes can take years to come fruition

But I have seen such wilful mismanagement of this country, the next government is going have a hell of job rebuilding

Labour will have to show they have at least a two term plan to turn it around for the betterment of all.

Pretty much guaranteed 2 terms. It will take a long time to forgive the tories.
Starmer seems to be the right guy here so expecting good things of labour without the left wing hysterics.

I would guess 2 to 3 terms, the Tories will more than likely pivot towards the far right and remain in the political wilderness for a long time, we don’t like extremes of either left or right

Governing is particularly difficult when you ditch semi-capable cabinet members and replace them with clueless gerbils who unreservedly agree with the prime minister irrespective of the topic under discussion.
It's also quite tricky having to run the country while implementing the biggest act of self-harm ever seen at the ballot box.
