I always hate the build-up to a derby, especially at Old Trafford. Would rather it be played at 12.30 just to get it out of the way.

As Pep did 2 years ago when they never got a kick, put the ball in the fridge. Think he might go with Grealish over Doku to start for more control and better ball retention.

Grealish on the left and Foden and on the right was how we went last season when we put 6 past them, so I'd be ok with that.

Alvarez just behind Haaland, Rodri in his usual role and Bernado in a midfield role.

That would do for me, then Doku off the bench if we need something different.

Why is it kicking off at 15:30 instead of 16:30?

I suspect it may be to accommodate broadcasters around the world as not all countries have put the clocks back like in the UK. Here in the States, we don’t put our clocks back until November 5th so by making it 3:30pm instead of 4:30pm it keeps our viewing time the same. Come on you Blues!!!

Anything can happen mate, on paper you'd like to think we'll blitz them, but you just know we'll make very hard work of things

Very true, for years we've been better than them and they've still beaten us a few times.
On the other side of the coin, from the ('he's behind you Gary' ) final derby at Maine Road carrying on for the following few years we got some decent results against them when they were still a pretty decent side.
Ofcourse player for player we are a far superior side.Like many other blues I am though concerned about dodgy/corrupt(?) officiating and even (as you perhaps are alluding to) our ability to still sometimes shoot ourselves in the foot!

I think in a game like this, I'd say it's definitely a positive.

He might well be on the decline, but he's played in plenty of big games, and probably would have stepped up today.
