You're probably right, however:
"In law, a judgment, also spelled judgement, is a decision of a court regarding the rights and liabilities of parties in a legal action or proceeding."

It's Judgment in UK legal context. I can remember one of my lecturer's annotations correcting me.

So no real answers then.

Whilst I hate Brexit, "sorting it" won't involve rejoining in my lifetime. WE had a good deal with all of the associated opt outs. The country voted to take the leap off the cliff without checking the safety blanket was in place.

The NHS sucks cash out of the taxpayer at an alarming rate. I am a huge fan but just getting rid of a few iddle managers won't resolve the structural issues that exist.

Immigration tougher-how? And do you mean legal or illegal?

Work-connected to the above in a way. We are one of the few countries that doesn't allow migrants to work until their case is heard. There is no doubt that some take the piss out of the system but again without a wholesale reform I'm not sure how you adddress the loopholes. Work has to be made worthwhile both financially but also to get a grip of dodgy employers who also take the piss.

Mordaunt?-look at her conference speech, it's almost deranged.

Reeves-maybe in the future, but they have to get in first.
Like i said no magic wand.
Even labour cant lose the next election.

Fuck’s sake

F£&K OFF !!

Depends if he’s referring to one fuck or several, although for the latter an apostrophe after the s would be appropriate.
Hmmm, the fact there’s no article, definite or indefinite, before the noun (in this case “fuck”) would, IMHO, mean the “fuck” could only be singular and ergo, it’s “fuck’s” sake.
Similarly, if we replace “fuck” with another name, ie Gordon , then we’d usually pluralise the “sake”: for Gordons’ sakes.
What we can be certain of: Braverman’s a ****.

It's not desirable for its own sake, it's just a fact of life. The real question is why is it so desirable to attempt to restrict diversity, because left to our own devices, diversity is inevitable. I mean a good chunk of diversity is sexuality, gender and disability. Would you ask why those things are desirable? They're not desirable, they just exist.
I'm asking why it's pushed as a perfect ideal without any questioning to the detrimental aspect. I find it bizarre that the whole narrative is positive and any deviation away from that is considered unpalatable.

I came across this today, and it reinforces to me that differing opinions are thrown out because being partisan is paramount.

Our NHS is being staffed by immigrants (both white and non-white for the record, I was only referring to the previous commenters irrelevant distinction between the two). They are here because our government has failed to adequately train doctors and nurses in this country. They come here because we need them here to fulfil roles in public services - this is the result of the Conservative government's policies and cuts to fund training programs. Yet despite that they are constantly scapegoated as being the root cause of all societies ills - as demonstrated about 2 pages prior.

My in-laws are black immigrants, all working in the NHS and other public services. Call me racist if you want. I am fucking sick to death of people in this country trying to scapegoat my wife who has put in blood, sweat and tears during trying times like the pandemic to help people to the point where there are days she comes home in tears. So forgive me if I get my back up just a little bit over people using terms like 'non-white' immigrants as if the colour of their skin had fucking anything to do with it.
Should have quoted the original commentators/posters then, because it lost the context.

Anyway, I'm an ancestor of Irish immigrants that came to Manchester. I'm the third public servant in the family and we have a combined total of over 110 years service.

I also had another Irish ancestor (my great great grandfather) that came over as a navvie and helped build the Manchester Ship Canal.

And I have three brothers and a nephew who have served in the Armed Forces.

So whilst I completely understand your frustration, it was just the "colour" bit that pissed me off.
Now you have explained it...fine.
If it matters...I'm fucking sick of people saying "middle aged white men" as a derogatory term.

Home office lawyers and tory politicians would have known this from the start. Its all performative. They would rather spend 100s of millions doing this and then blaming lefty lawyers than deal with the political reality.
It's what they wanted. They are now the ones who tried to sort the situation but were thwarted by the courts.

Never hear it in real life, it's a sly dig and when someone tells them that they are sly cunts they get all upset about it.

What grinds my gears are the useful idiots who nod at them as if they are political giants making ground breaking statements. Imagine saying that about any other demographic?
