I think the match against the red scouse cunts has got that little bit tastier on the 25th
The two cases are totally different. The Everton one was easy for them, the equivalent of a tap in on the goal line. City's case on the other hand is far more complicated as the burden of prove is on the Premier League. They have already been going at for over 4 years and we still haven't been found guilty of anything.Everton's situation has fuck all to do with ours. Everton committed an obvious breach of FFP documented for all to see in their own books and additionally have not offered any defense other than hoping they didn't get slammed for it. Their beef is that the penalty is overly harsh relative to their indiscretion.
We haven't been proven to violate a single rule nor have we admitted to any wrongdoing whatsoever. They can charge us with a million breaches but if none are proven valid what's the point?
These assholes in the media are actually trying to pass off Everton's fucking up as some sort of statement of proof versus City. It's absurd under any form of rational thinking. I know they obviously don't care but they are making themselves look like complete morons...
Said the same to my lads last night.I think the match against the red scouse cunts has got that little bit tastier on the 25th
There's also a third possibility - that the independent regulator takes up post before our case gets to an independent commission and upon re-examining our case it is decided that no further action should be taken. What the world of football thickies don't realise when they screech 'what about City????' is that our case is far more complex, allegedly took place over a longer period, and contains accusations so severe that it is impossible to imagine that it could have been concluded before the cut-and-dry case of Everton. The King's Speech made it very clear that the regulator is coming sooner rather than later, and no amount of Jamie Carragher libelling City as procrastinators will expedite the case. But if the club are innocent then why accept that? I think this is the final end game now of this either being proven we lied and heads will roll or the premier league being proven as corrupt.
A good job it has been moved to the early ko, lolI think the match against the red scouse cunts has got that little bit tastier on the 25th
He'll be lucky, with that accent! There's also a third possibility - that the independent regulator takes up post before our case gets to an independent commission and upon re-examining our case it is decided that no further action should be taken. Take your politics to the politics thread. If brexit taught us anything its that we should never let people who dont understand rules, regulations and consequences influence decisions just because they shout the loudest
If City were relegated or titles taken away. What would be the consequences and would our owners take some form of drastic action? I can not help thinking the consequences, might be a lot more seismic than people imagine.
Why would he do that? The toilets are still going to need cleaning. Here's a way to combat the unrelenting media vitriol.....buy the fuckers up!!
The Telegraph reporting that the Barclay family who controlled it for decades until Lloyds seized control due to unpaid loans have made a bid to take back control by paying the full 1.2 billion owed. That money is coming from a media investment fund called Redbird IMI, of which Sheikh Mansour is a major investor. Hope he insists Ducker and Wallace get the chop :)
So you think City will be found guilty of fraud? That's what the charges relate to? I don't personally as if they had evidence surely they would have substantiated their claims by now. Yet four years later and we've heard nothing more, why would that be. City has denied all allegations and basically said put up or shut up. The silence is deafening. My guess is that the PL are looking for a way out to save face, with City accepting some minor punishment, but City have said no, we're not accepting anything.Still believe what I wrote in this thread back in February: no relegation and no title stripping. But point deduction and a transfer ban for a year or so. It won't be a big deal in the grand scheme of things, not as big as our rivals want anyway.
The outcome is not only about merely legal rules and procedures. The wider context matters. Hope I'm being pessimistic, but I think there will be some sanctions and they'll be neither too big nor too small.
Can you imagine the fallout if the independent commission adjudged that we had no case to answer, and were scathing in the behaviour of the red shirts to manipulate the Premier League to their own ends?!There's also a third possibility - that the independent regulator takes up post before our case gets to an independent commission and upon re-examining our case it is decided that no further action should be taken. Let’s be up for this one and at the game the fans hate the scouse twats and the other red scumSaid the same to my lads last night.
I have been wondering that too. Could City sue the PL and media outlets for libel, bearing in mind, to the overwhelming majority, City are guilty as is.Can you imagine the fallout if the independent commission adjudged that we had no case to answer, and were scathing in the behaviour of the red shirts to manipulate the Premier League to their own ends?!
Delicious Irony.
Nick Harris is long overdue a good suing.I have been wondering that too. Could City sue the PL and media outlets for libel, bearing in mind, to the overwhelming majority, City are guilty as is.
It’s just the media and the red shirts. Look on Twitter now and you’ll only see Arsenal, United and Liverpool fans crying for us to be relegated. They know it’s the final chance to get rid of us.Compleatley disagree, everyone in media hates us,all big clubs hate us its just pure jealously, and its what comes with domination
This outcome is not really likely, as to reach the standards whereby points deductions are appropriate, they will almost certainly have to land some of the heavier charges, and as those charges in no uncertain terms suggest a highly coordinated and complex long-term fraudulent enterprise you would potentially be looking at some of City’s execs getting their collars felt and a push to disbar SM from ownership of the club…Still believe what I wrote in this thread back in February: no relegation and no title stripping. But point deduction and a transfer ban for a year or so. It won't be a big deal in the grand scheme of things, not as big as our rivals want anyway.
Is this some sort of "best case scenario" compromise you've thought of?Still believe what I wrote in this thread back in February: no relegation and no title stripping.
