PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I agree wholeheartedly.

But let's say we completely disprove 4 out of 5 of the groups of charges, which is possible. How does anyone disprove the non-cooperation charge. It is more subjective, and if the panel decide that, not accepting it doesn't do much.
The non-cooperation charge is the one charge which I think they may get us on.

Huge drift in City's titles odds last day or so-slightly eased this morning.

Odds on relegation from >1000 in to 48.

Everton's situation has fuck all to do with ours. Everton committed an obvious breach of FFP documented for all to see in their own books and additionally have not offered any defense other than hoping they didn't get slammed for it. Their beef is that the penalty is overly harsh relative to their indiscretion.

We haven't been proven to violate a single rule nor have we admitted to any wrongdoing whatsoever. They can charge us with a million breaches but if none are proven valid what's the point?

These assholes in the media are actually trying to pass off Everton's fucking up as some sort of statement of proof versus City. It's absurd under any form of rational thinking. I know they obviously don't care but they are making themselves look like complete morons...
Defence, arsehole.

Even if found not guilty, our reputation will never recover.
We will just be the dirty oil club who paid off the panel, fuck em
So what?

I used to tell anyone who listened that the rags only won anything because they slipped brown envelopes to referees.

Rival fans will never respect us because they're rival fans.

Enjoy their bitterness because it means they're really hurting.

That battle was lost years ago when we didn't lock horns and still don't, while mentalist's like Harris and mainstream media wankers spew out shite and we still do nothing, the club have seemingly now chucked the towel in at those feeding the gammons of the world.

It'll be interesting to see how the Saudis deal with the media tsunami over the next few years.

Hopefully invite Harris and Delaney to the embassy for a tour of the bottom of the well.

The panel won’t call it that, but it is essentially what they are saying.

If they are challenging the veracity of our disclosed accounts, that’s akin to fraud. Their burden of proof will be less than in a court though.
It’s not akin to fraud - it’s fraud.

I was thinking about this yesterday. Factually you are correct but the only reason is duration and that a rule book comes out each season. If the rules stayed the same each season then we would be only answering six charges. The narrative is that we did 115 different things wrong. It sounds better.

You are not wrong, but that is also a bit like arguing someone accused of murdering 20 individuals is really accused of only one thing.

Law minded people have rightly grouped the charges into 5 groups. It is then imo dishonest for others to argue we only really have 5 charges to answer for. Particularly as people then further take it as 110 charges have beem cleared, or dismissed. Which is exactly what has been happening.

It is still 115 (or whatever the actual number is, than that one that seems to have stuck) charges. Which, when/if cleared will sound all the better.

American owners want a monopoly in english football, the Arab owners are getting in the way. They don't want to have to match their financial input they want maximum profit for minimum investment. They also want the premier leagues share of the money hence the super league. We all know what happens when big money is involved, corruption. If the red shirt biased premierleague somehow succeed with their witch hunt, football is finished in Europe.

Who continue to win major trophies, and report record revenues and profits.
Absolutely, is any City fan really expecting the red shirts to acknowledge our achievements,?I certainly don't. want them to!
I really hope Pep or Khaldoon write a book about it someday, or even better make a documentary about it.

Points deduction and a heavy fine possibly.

Points deduction for percieved non-coopertion? Personally think that would be entirely disproportionate. As far as I know, unprecedented. More like a fine, suspended fine, or perhaps a suspended transfer ban but even that goes beyond a relative measure, as it is effectively a sporting pubishment rather than an administrative one. Non-cooperation is not a sporting offence.

Bring it on they would be stirring up a hornets nest giving City would Everton got. Could you imagine if we walked the league with a points deduction, other side of the coin if you were a rival team would you be happy celebrating a title if you finished 2nd and had it handed to you? It’s a win win either way for us.

They only want a monopoly of money, don’t think they care too much about the sport. Now don’t get me wrong sheikh mansour ain’t in it for total love as he’s made a shit load as well, but the team has pissed it so it’s a win win for him and us supporters
