It'll do them good. The last 70 years hasn't worked well for them, so it needed something different.

He'll probably be assassinated by Christmas but wish him the best of luck, it's a fabulous place and the people deserve better than they have been given by their leaders.

My only hope is that he doesn't revert to type and try and win people over with another bash at the Falklands. That will end horrendously for him and his people.

It's a mystery why Argentina has not developed into a prosperous and stable country, it's got everything.

As one mexican told me they speak Spanish with an Italian accent

Love child of Ronnie Corbett, Fred West and yeah....the orange gibbon.
Good luck lads.

Looks a lot like Bernard Manning in this photo

I thought he looked more like Dr Banner on the way to changing into the Hulk!

I only saw his photo and thought he looked a ****.

Milei looks like a brunette version of the similarly inane Michael Fabricant. Wonder if he also has one of these?

They do mate, over 60% of Argentines have Italian ancestry. Buenos Aires was built from Italian immigrants who arrived by ship in the late 19th and early 20th century.

It's definitely one of the harder Spanish dialects to master, certainly not the lispy Spanish that us Brits are used to hearing on holiday in Spain.
