Just watched the ‘tackle’ on Foden again. Its a red card. It literally ticks every box.
I dont buy into the ‘agenda against city’ nonsense, speak to every other fan and they think VAR is against them too! We cant all be right/wrong.

My opinion is that officiating is just at a total all time low and utter incompetents are running it.

The biggest get out for them is the ‘clear and obvious error’ shizz. It allows them to cover a multitude of fuck ups every single game

As i have said multiple times and will continue to say, the fact that they refuse to make the conversation public in real time or have the refs come out after the game and explain why they made the decision tells you all you need to know about the state of refereeing.

The decisions yesterday ticks every single box for a red card yet both the ref and var chose not to give one and not a single one them has to justify or explain why they have come to that decision and that is why incompetence prevails because there is no accountability for it.

So you have the most qualified 'official' as the ref and he waits for two student IT interns in an industrial estate to make the decision, they slow it down a million times.....listen to Spitty and f'kin Gar to spout their uneducated opinions as they subconsciously want 'public opinion to be on VAR's side, look at the league table (and the replica shirt they have cycled to work in). Sky sports exec in their ear shouting 'keep the top six within 5 pts of each other ffs''...possibly look at their 'acca' as well for good measure, then after all that they make the ref decide by looking at an old black and white portable TV in slow motion...with the decision effectively already made. They just ask the refs to go over to watch to cover their arses...all takes ages. All of it sh*te, not helped or improved the game or atmosphere one bit. Worse still, we are training kids to not believe that a refs decision is final. Sport is about rough with smooth. You cant have VAR in grass roots so this constant, ranting from managers (lego 'ed especially), F'kin imbeciles in 'meeja', creates this environment which is bad for the future of the game as the vast majority play for fun and not professionally, let alone games with VAR in it......scrap it, it's pointless.
Is that correct that the VAR officials have access to audio from commentators? Surely they should be in a bubble and only outside contact is with officials.

Luton caller on 606 thought that ref favoured City no mention of the possible red card by the idiots Sutton going on about Pep should coach throw ins Savage trying to tell him Bernie’s wasn’t a foul throw but he just drowned him out

they were chanting 2-1 to the ref, they werent watching the game as they got away with murder a few times, as with most teams now tho its easier to blame the ref than it is to look at your own shortcomings.

Once again its the lack of consistency, everybody with eyes saw there was no difference between bernardos throw in and the luton player who took the throw in immediately after but then the ref wouldnt get his 5 minutes of fame would they.

They should show the ground replays of decisions that validate the refs on-field decision. Not just things the ref has missed and has had to award after viewing replays himself on the monitor.

Can you imagine them chanting "Cheats.. Cheats.. Cheats.." then a replay runs of the ball hitting Alvarez on the chin and shuts them down mid chant.

VAR didnt think the challenge on Phil was a red card but could spot a handball for Bournemouth 4th.

I'm only a fan but could see the challenge on Phil was 100% a red card. I couldnt see for sure a handball for Bournemouth 4th. I did see Onina take out the Bournemouth striker making him lose his balance but to still score. The foul procedure the possible handball. So red card for Onina and penalty to Bournemouth

This is not the first time that the referees let our opponents kick us as they want. Just look at the yellow cards they give, if it's a City player, he can do a maximum of two fouls then he gets a yellow card, and our opponents the one who kicks the most is spared like Gallagher when we played against Chelsea.

On Saturday in game Sheffield - Brendford there also should be red for one challenge but VAR didn't think that and it was red all day. Someone will get serious injury because of referees letting that go away insted punishing them.

It's somewhat lifts the spirits when the ball that hit Hooooolihaaaan in the mush that led to our second goal wasn't called for handball. Must have clearly missed all finger nails and hairs on his arm and the wallahs in the VAR shed could see clear daylight between!

We tend to see a red card only when the Dippers are chasing the win. It's pretty standard for them the have a half or the last twenty mins playing against ten.

The Luton fans are like the fans of little club that gets to a final - everyone and their dog wants to go to the game and then disappear once it's over.
Luton have got a season of it instead of one game. They are the new version of 2011 Blackpool.
