I’m sure Newcastle’s legal Department will be aware of the issues to, given the attempts by the old cartel clubs attempts to restrict our growth in revenues by bringing in FMV too. FFP and FMV are anti competitive and a legal challenge should be made.

I believe, although I have no inside info, that they are building a case and if pushed to far by the old cartel will go down the legal route. As someone on this forum said the PL are not above the law.

Shows the utter ignorance of the general football fan of most other clubs in relation to what the charges most likely actually refer to, where they emanate from and the very real onus on the PL to provide sufficient evidence to satisfy the burden of proof whilst withstanding Citys likely substantial rebuttal evidence.

Also a lack of any real legal appreciation of the inherent difficulties of proving "fraud" on the scale alleged without the smoking gun, which most people with any substantive knowledge of the City case history have opined, the PL don't have.

Nobody confesses to a murder when there's no murder weapon, no body, they have a cast iron alibi corroborated by multiple others and the evidence presented against them is that a 10 year old email to their mum expressed an opinion that they didn't like them much.

Whatever enables them to sleep at night I suppose but it's all a bit sad and desperate.
