Honestly thought he played pretty well. He is raw but shows flashes of skill and has a nice turn pace that I think there is a really good player in there given time. Some of his runs off the ball dragging defenders away gave Bernardo acres of space, stuff like that goes unnoticed at times but it is crucial.
I doubt he will ever be an undisputed starter but I’m confident he will be a useful squad player for the next few years
Lol.Absolutely dreadful performance. Just rank bad. He's got nothing about him at all.
Panic buying isn't a good thing particularly when you can't get your money back.
Granted everyone is entitled to a bad game but KDB is arguably the best midfielder in PL history. Kovacic has done it at the top level. Nunes has done nothing of note to be compared to either. We have had plenty of games where kdb had been a ghost too.. and kova? Don’t get me started. Give the man some time
He's a liability. We looked 100% better after he was subbed.Lol.
I disagree, but I just thought it was funny how two people can see a player's performance in almost polar opposites. He's a liability. We looked 100% better after he was subbed.
Out of his depth at elite level.
First touch needs to improve a lot . His passing and movement also needs to improve. His awareness also needs to improve as does his concentration. Also needs to work on his physique and get stronger. Has however shown glimpses of improvement which is encouraging and his temperament was good tonight in an intimidating Goodison Park .A lot of similarities for me, with the Cancelo's first season...
So this is not like "Phillips Bad".
This guy can be transformed into a great player..
But till that happens, I don't think he will get a lot of game time this season.
Doku returns, KDB returns, Haaland returns.
This means Alvarez, Foden, Grealish, Kovacic fighting for that midfield role.
And TBF they offer more right now..
