Must see documentaries..

Kevin Sinfield, “Going the extra mile” about his relationship with Rob Burrow and his work with MND. Steph Houghton’s husband Steven Darby is in it as well. It’s only 30 minutes but very moving. I dare anyone not to shed a tear, he’s one of the greatest ever Sportsman of my generation.

Absolutely. I’m not a fan of the honours system but if he doesn’t get recognised it will be pretty poor.

Already got an MBE then an OBE a couple of years back, and I think there has to be a certain number of years passed before you can receive another award.
So it's likely another few years before he could get a knighthood etc

Cheers for that. Showing my ignorance with the honours!

Started watching this last night had it on the sky box since May but havent found the time watched 1 & 1/2 episodes so far really enjoying it. I love the honesty especially from the former UDA fella in the yellow shirt
I thought he'd said he had been duped. What he actually joined was UFF!!! An excellent documentary series, but extremely hard watch!

Netflix From the Frontlines, I’ve always loved watching WW2 documentaries this is quite good, only 6 episodes and colorized but the human stories from all sides are good to listen to, the Jewish couple at the end had me in tears. Just a shame we never learn as a species, also it seems the USA won Europe and not the allies. 8/10
The World at War will never be bettered though.

American nightmare, honestly its mind boggling, I won’t spoil it but again the American police are fucking useless, even when their mistakes are pointed out,I’d say make into a film but they already have (sort of)

Year Zero. It's all about the Cambodian genocide. Having just left Cambodia it was particularly poignant, but learning about the wests/china's involvement in funding pol pot and the khmer rouge after vietnams invasion was disturbing.

I thought first they killed my father was a brilliant but harrowing film. Really opened our eyes to what when on.

If like me you remember it being on the tv all those years ago, its like being blasted back 40 years.
Same as why i like stuff about The Troubles
Yeah, I was about 22 at the time so remember the strikes well. Plus I've always been a union member so it's of particular interest.
Is it a series?
