Mr Bates vs the Post Office

Ok you’ve made your point, I accept it’s difficult for people to follow what’s going on and I do know nothing about East Anglia. I wouldn’t presume to advise anyone what to watch or read, but I wish people were better at getting together and forcing politicians to make things happen. Probably X is the best platform. Certainly not BBC or MSM.
X (twitter?) Because of anonymity it's full of conspiracy theories and mis-information, most evidence is based on "this happened to my mates mum's uncles friend".

This guy has got like 15 brain cells... How is he so fkin high up the food chain the PO, controlling peoples lives.
had dealings with them, all they are are are failed police detectives, the ones that didnt make the grade so took like for like employment else where, they have the opinion there never wrong and will lie at the first opportunity to nail you, this is so like how the PL are behaving with city its so amateurish

The fire service installed hand readers around 2006 to clock in on at every station to be linked to pay, overtime etc, alleged cost if £55k per station plus HQ so around 50 places. They never worked and things had ti be done manually with anomalies inputted after around 8/10 years they binned them, they kept throwing money at whoever did the software to the point they gave up. If you ever visit a station they are still on the walls gathering dust, no one got hauled over the coals. The military is the same billions wasted on systems and equipment that never does what it’s supposed to, have you ever seen a high ranking officer or civil servant held to account?

Its funny you should say that in my working life in insurance claims we have "special investigators" - they were mostly retired/failed ex-Police. Problem was that they got cases referred to them from adjusters and other investigators because there was something "fishy" going on. I always got the impression that they went in to prove there was rather than with an open mind - I personally only referred cases when I got some documented proof like a faked invoice on the basis that I didn't want somebody accused of something because I had a hunch and nothing more

I find it absolutely astounding that someone with such poor articulation was trusted to conduct interviews

Mind you, his questions were probably

Wares de muny?
Yoos dunnit dint yeh
Beyond his articulation it's his understanding (or lack there of) law which has lead him to surmise without investigation or evidence "I don't care what you say about Horizon your a thief".

But he does have a nasty look and way about him, which is why he had the job. He looks and even talks like a petty thug.

I reckon that If we all looked under the covers of our service providers there's so much shit going on like this.

One minute he's not involved in decisions as to whether money should be spent on Fujitsu preparing reports, the next it's his assertion that whenever he was asked if money should be spent on Fujitsu preparing reports he would have said yes.
Surely the 1st part is a polar opposite position of the 2nd.

The one thing that surprised me about the programme, that doesn’t seem to have been discussed much, is that the Post Office have the power to completely bypass the police and take people to court themselves.

Not saying I’ve 100% confidence in the police but their involvement is normally a pretty important step between someone accusing someone else of criminality and that person ending up in jail.

How this fella got the job he did is beyond belief
