No, no. Telling the world I have a massive cock is bragging.Am I right in thinking that virtue signalling is new talk for bragging/boasting?
No, no. Telling the world I have a massive cock is bragging.
Saying I only deploy it for consensual sex is virtue signalling.
Do you see the difference now?
You can be a decent person without going out of your way to make sure everyone knows how decent you are. That's what I was trying to find out. It's not a phrase I use so not sure why/when others do. You could be right. It just seems to me though used when someone is being a decent person, so not sure why they should be called out for it.
I'm even more confused now, because aren't they lies either way?

In fact the more decent a person I'd say the less likely they are to have to publicise it.
I understand your doubts but, to be fair, you haven’t met me.
If this is the definition, what do you think that Lineker has over-publicised?You can be a decent person without going out of your way to make sure everyone knows how decent you are.

I guess that’s why they don’t like Mr Lineker. There are some seriously self-opinionated, self-important posters on this thread
who just refuse point blank to even listen, never mind accept that there
might just be an alternative point of view from their own.
bigot. / (ˈbɪɡət) / noun. a person who is intolerant of any ideas other than his or her own, esp on religion, politics, or race.
Cheers - at least you're civil. Punches downwards, I'll inform Eni.Not sure if that's directed at me, I guess it must be seeing as I'm the only one who quoted the dictionary...?
However I've not been irate and not called anyone gammon, so I'm not sure. You'd probably call me more of a "snowflake", but whatever, it's a bit irrelevant.
Biggest difference between Lineker and Barton is that Lineker mostly calls out people in power, while Barton just punches downwards. Shouldn't be surprised though, it's how he's always been.
Telling the World you are a massive cock is woke?I'm even more confused now, because aren't they lies either way?
Is he wearing just his jocks and gone fully batshit?Barton going after Lineker and Neville is just wonderful.
I am loving it!Barton going after Lineker and Neville is just wonderful.

I'm not sure what part of history you believe existed where people had greater freedom from being told how to behave or think than we do now. It wasn't that long ago this country chemically castrated men for being gay, forcibly adopted children of unmarried mothers, deported people for wanting to organise a trade union and jailed women for fighting for the vote. Having your opinion criticised or contradicted is not the same. That is healthy discussion. No opinion is immune, it's an opinion nothing more, nothing less.
But we now live in a world where we are told what to think and that is very wrong and unhealthy.

Of course they are. It’s predictable, boring and embarrassing.
Only the thick are lapping up Barton’s grifting crusade.
