I thought the point was to show who would have won if owner investment was not allowed?Spotted that. It gives United five titles in a row, totally airbrushing Blackburn's victory.

whatever you had for breakfast, dont eat it againSurely, after the Everton sanction, we can assume that if found guilty of serious breaches, it would result in a points deduction. And if Everton received a 10 points deduction, ours might exceed that.
Let's say the deduction would be 100 points. That would put us at the bottom of the PL for that particular season. The consequence of that would be relegation to the Championship.
If the points deduction was say 250 points, that would still put us at the bottom of the PL, and would religate us down one tier. It's ludicrous to put all the leagues into one and place us between two teams that are in theory either side of 250 points below us. That just isn't a thing in sport. (That's not related to the quoted post. It's merely my take on suggestions we might end up playing derbies against FC United, or Maine Road FC.)

because the police and hmrc dont really go on fishing expeditions, there is actual evidence of liverpool fans engaging in criminal activity and evidence of uniteds board engaging in criminal activity (paying 50m for onana and 85m for anthony is a far bigger case of fraud than anything we have allegedly done) but hmrc and the police havent bothered because those cases hold about as much weight as ours.If we are supposed to have committed large scale fraud, why are the police, HMRC not knocking on the door, they are far more powerful than any PL inquiry.
Unfortunately he gets to say and do whatever he wants because he’s mentally unwell.Nick Harris needs feeding to some piranhas.

Apparently they’ve heard a strong rumour that there is a piece of paper with “we done it, it’s a fair cop, signed the Sheik” written in crayon.
Smoking gun…..
If we end collective bargaining, it kills the prem as it has done la liga. Greed.Wow - he's going full Delaney the older more boring and miserable he gets. What a dangerous little man though.
Or badly read :-)Badly worded then.
but to what end would such a ridiculous size points deduction be given, of course i understand a sizeable deduction to ensure relegation is understandable but to suggest that we would be given a points deduction large enough to relegate us several leagues is unlikely surely.Correct.
Let's not be silly. A case of multi-year false accounting creating 10 years or more of sporting advantage with severe aggravating factors (deliberate concealment) would obviously end in relegation either by expulsion or by 100 point deduction. This is not an answer about City - it would apply to any club before or after Everton. And it would be disingenuous to suggest otherwise.
always worth a bump
And the premier league will be laughed out of court / commission or they should if they have gone on a fishing expedition. In fact first thing I would say to the commission is that the premier league clearly don’t believe these charges or that they have evidence otherwise they would have gone to HMRC and the Police with it and it’s in the public domain and they haven’t had a lookbecause the police and hmrc dont really go on fishing expeditions, there is actual evidence of liverpool fans engaging in criminal activity and evidence of uniteds board engaging in criminal activity (paying 50m for onana and 85m for anthony is a far bigger case of fraud than anything we have allegedly done) but hmrc and the police havent bothered because those cases hold about as much weight as ours.
they should show the commission the episode of the simpsons where she says to homer by his logic this rock keeps tigers away and he says how and she says well there arent any tigers because it relates directly to their logic. And the premier league will be laughed out of court / commission or they should if they have gone on a fishing expedition. Also if the pl actually had anything i doubt wed have gone for an IC if we had been bang to rights i think we would have tried to negotiate for a more lenient punishment, the fact we havent suggests we are very confidentAll this talk of playing Rochdale or whoever is total bollocks. As has been stated the Premier League and League are two different entities. The premier could give us a 250 point deduction but that wouldn't carry over to lower leagues, we'd be in the Championship that's it.
The Championship for a season would be a right laugh tbf, especially if we were CL holders. All this talk of playing Rochdale or whoever is total bollocks.
