By rights it should make his position untenable. The head honcho commenting in a way to prejudice an ongoing investigation is on the same don’t fucking do it list as kissing a player in celebration.

I think that is the most likely outcome too, it will be a re-run of UEFA’s but more proof needed.

They won’t be able to prove fraud, then everything will become time barred and we will have got away with it (it seems slightly predictable if we have both read it right).

The 115 charges has worked well for them rather then just charging us for FFP, has really played out in the public as they would have wanted.

My advice to blues is to wear it once this is all over, 115, got of on a technicality, time barred etc. I know we want everyone to know we are innocent but nothing we will say will ever change some opposing fans mind who listens to Simon Jordan all day.

So go the opposite, United did it back in the day when everyone was accusing them of having FA/ refs in their pocket.

They sung we do what we want…Was a frustrating chant when they where successful.

That should be City fans response, really wind up the opposition once we are cleared on this technicality as they will no doubt claim.

There was 115 charges by the Premier League, 115 charges by the Premier League and if Lord Pannick was to get 1 time barred, there would be 114 charges by the Premier League.

This last one is a joke, as I don’t think anyone would want to sing all those verses

Not an expert or even close to it but I understand that means at least halving inheritance taxes.
He does live ex-pat in The Bahamas but maybe the family have some genuine allegiance to the UK and would be liable.
But above all, I'm sure he will be acting within the law and is totally above board and a fine gentleman in the view of the EPL.

In all seriousness though, Simon Jordan(and his team, such as, whoever is choosing the video titles) is not just doing his job, he's being personal and extra with it. Go look at his Chelsea, Newcastle, Everton debates and so on, who've had similar stories and you'll see there's a massively disproportionate lack of balance in how he approaches City.

Nobody needs to believe a word he's saying, take everything with a pinch of salt, bashing City must be making them money, we can agree on all that... But at the same time, fuck him, he deserves every bit of flack he gets. It's also good fun ripping him to shreds.

Maybe it's just me who sees it and he's nowhere near as bad as him yet but he seems to at least be veering off in the direction of Nick Harris level of personal, when it comes to City.

He'll even gaslight the audience/comment section, if they suggest he has agendas. Dropping in comments like:

'We don't have agendas on this show, that's silly',
or: 'I remember City at Maine Road blah blah, so it's not that I have it in for City',
or: 'I'm the same with Eddie Hearn as I am with Uncle Frank, blah blah blah'.

What does he think, that we'll all go: 'oh well, if he's saying that, then we must have him wrong'? Rather than, deduce that he's full of shit and shameless with it. :)

I think Jordan is toxic as far as City are concerned. He is close to Levy and Parry and they are obviously feeding him lines. He also knows there is money to be made from peddlling an anti-City agenda. There are a lot of LFC and MUFC fans out there.

I’ve always assumed their evidence is just the further leaked emails that came out after the CAS judgment and we haven’t responded to them fully, hence the charges and the non compliance. Once it gets to the IC, I’m assuming we’ll then provide further evidence like we did at CAS.

It’s difficult to know whether the Pl were right to take it to the next step without knowing how we responded to them and what our evidence we provided for it was. We’ll only know that when we get the judgment.

I know I shouldn't do this as there is a million better ways to spend my precious time BUT I stupidly replied to Nick Harris tweet and am discussing the appointment of judges at CAS. They are convinced we picked two. Has anyone got the link to or screenshot of how they are picked?

This poont is one of the most annoying to me as a quick sense check would obviously lead to anyone with that opionon to think, that doesn't make sense. Why would Uefa agree to an abratation where their opponent gets to pick two judges effectively meaning they can never win a case.

Last check - I am correct thay it was on one pick each and then both parties agree on the chairman?

If I remember right, UEFA picked one, City picked one, then City suggested the 3rd and UEFA agreed it was a good choice. If they couldn't have agreed themselves, on the 3rd judge, CAS would have stepped in and chosen someone for them. So, Nick needs to think about that properly, before making anything of it.
