PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Kliperty thrown in the towel as he knows we are in the clear and not guilty of any of the charges :)

If as we all suspect (know) there are a number of PL pushing the PL with these charges you would imagine they have been asked to be kept in the loop with any developments. While the hearing hasnt yet taken place i feel it is safe to suspect discussions are taking place with ourselves an the PL legal teams.

Could it be that Berrada going to the Rags and Klopp jumping ship may be because the PL have told these clubs that things are looking to be going our way?
Nah... Klipperty looks fucked, like he's had the life sucked out of him trying to usurp Pep.

To be fair, when asked about "competing with clubs who'd spent far more on players than the Dippers", Teeth admitted there wasn't a player he could think of who could've added to their season when they got 97 points & City still finished ahead of them.

He just looks physically & mentally broken. It can't be easy giving it absolutely everything, & only finishing ahead of your closest rival once in 9 years.

On top of that, he's had to rebuild his team again, & still has to replace an ageing Salad & VVD. He just doesn't have the appetite to do it all over again, & try to finish ahead of City who've completed the Treble, won the UEFA Super Cup & were crowned World Champions.

We hit a rocky patch in the first part of the season, but hung onto the Dippers' coat tails, being only five points behind, with a game in hand, with KDB, Stones, Doku & The Viking returning.

It now makes sense how dejected he sounded when lamenting about KDB's return affecting this seasons' title race. He's probably had a sense of Deja Vu & thought "Fuck it! I can't keep doing this season after season any longer."

Pep's broken him. ¯\_(⊙_ʖ⊙)_/¯

My thoughts also.
If we were nailed on to be guilty Klopp would have hung around for another season at least
Be funny if it turns out he’s seen the books and noticed an anomaly where Firmino transfer fee has had 6 more zeroes added to it

I'll take that and raise you.
There's a mid-table club in the PL who were thinking of buying said player - but they think they can do without until the summer. They suspect the selling club may be skirting with FSR issues so think "2 birds one stone", they won't buy to make sure the sellers get points deducted next season and go back in the summer. It's a FARCE
(It's not actually that far fetched - although I do wear a tinfoil hat!)
I’m not sure that’s far fetched at all

Laughable and I bet if it was Pep who had announced he was leaving, not one person on rawk, rag cafe or the media would have linked it to the charges.
I overheard two people talking today. Their theory is that Berrada has jumped ship to United because he knows we have an incoming guilty verdict with very serious consequences. They could think of no other reason why he would otherwise go from City to United. I did not interfere with their delusions of adequacy

All any sensible football supporter needs to do to understand why he has left is to look at how many millions Richard Arnold has been paid for his short tenure of absolute failure at Utd.

I would imagine that Berrada has named his price at a level that any 2nd tier exec at any club in world football would sprint to Old Trafford for.

It’s not complicated to understand his reasons although I doubt anybody in the English media will report it.

If City have done what the Premier League have accused then of in mass conspiracy to fraud. Changing your job won’t protect Barrata from the law, which tells you all we need to know about 115 charges.

That’s like being under investigation for murder and moving house to “make it all go away”.

Simon Jordan, astonishingly has argued Pep's comments amount to him 'barking at the moon'(someone made that argument about their last video 'SJ issues 'strong warning to City fans'). I strongly suspect he's been reading this forum, anything he doesn't like that gets under his skin, he'll shamelessly try and debunk, even when he's bang to rights('I have no agenda').

They've done their usual trick of misrepresenting the facts of why UEFA's verdicts were overturned, putting it down to a time-barring technicality only. Simon did his usual spin on the non-cooperation charges too, "If you were innocent, why did you accept the fine".

Just on that quickly, here's what CAS concluded on that:

CAS said the UEFA leaks are for the CEDB to investigate and decide upon(page 47).jpg
I'd always presumed this was an organisation similar to CAS and wondered why we never heard any progress or outcome from it. So, I just had a quick look, to see who they are and the closest match appears to be this: The Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body:
UEFA’s Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body consists of a chairman, two vice-chairmen and thirteen other members. As a rule, it reaches decisions in the presence of all its members.
So, it was left up to UEFA to investigate their own leaks and come to their own verdict. No wonder we never heard anything from it.

Ffs stop listening to Simon fucking Jordan and stop posting about him.

He's talking bollocks ON PURPOSE.

100% agreed(great post btw), I thought there were at least some rules talkshows and even youtube content creators have to follow. In fact, I know there are and I'm fairly certain they are breaking them and although perhaps they're not seen as a major breaches of the rules and regulations already in place, they are doing it with such frequency that it's becoming routine/accepted.

talkSport are accountable to ofcom's rules and regulations, there are rules on impartiality standards, fact reporting/misinformation etc. Here's a quote from the CEO last year:

I don't subscribe to the notion that talkSport are exempt from these rules because of what they class themselves as, they discuss news and current affairs in the sporting world, plain an simple. They shut down opposing views, cut them off(don't allow them to be heard properly) and misrepresent what they said.

As for youtube, click the report button on a video and you get list of all the things you can flag a video for, so you don't even need to read their rules and regulations, misinformation has it's own checkbox as does 'spam or misleading'. That's actually something we as City fans can do ourselves.

I don't normally like reporting or grassing people up(there was a code against that where I grew up lol) but enough is enough, it's the way these slimy arseholes operate anyway(such as Nick Harris and Rob coming on here fishing for victimhood ammunition). You know they would in the same position, so it's giving them some of their own medicine really. We should all start doing it, before sharing it or discussing it, if there's a strong case for misinformation or misleading clickbait then report the fuckers.

Maybe we could petition to ofcom too and give examples of their breaches but I have the feeling it would need the club to get onto them for ofcom to take serious action, if they bother doing anything at all.
You make many good points and I appreciate the information. I also come from a place where "reporting" was greatly frowned upon, lol. It's why I've posted on several occasions that some of these people need nothing short of a good crack to the face, but it's gotten my posts binned...No repercussions results in zero accountability...
