Pep is brillant in what he can do but there are definite limitations to Doku's game. He isn't going to start having Grealish's technical qualities (same with with Doku's assets)
He doesn’t need Grealish’s technical quality, just has to calm himself a little after beating his man and work on picking out the correct pass at the right time.
All of that can be easily improved the longer you train with the same players day in day out.

Again that can't really improve if he is fleeting in and out of games. Tonight would have been an opportunity to stake a claim but was inconsistent. Again not a totally shit performance.

Yeah, not sure we’re on the same page, not even reading the same book it seems.
Fair to say I disagree.

I love watching him but someone who gets into the positions he does (usually of his own making) has to deliver far more.
The number of assists he has so far this season in the league compares with pretty much anyone on a per game basis.

His ranking based on stats is the third best in the league.

He’s 21.

Has he got loads of room to improve - he bloody should have at that age and he has the one of the greatest coaches ever to help him.

He is a typical winger. Will get plenty off supporters off their seats and win plenty of points but will not improve his overall game to a really consistent level. Age means nothing. Gabby being an recent example.

Considering the opposition he had a stinker tonight, final ball was atrocious, decision making not much better.

He doesn't have that pin point accuracy when passing with his left foot and doesn't have the right foot finesse shot or power shot on the right foot either so essentially he's wasted on the left wing, he should be played on the RW.

Got to accept that he isn't going to improve with his overall decision making but is still very useful player to have in the team and squad depth.
Hes 21. Its bound to improve and thne we have a hell of a player. If it doesn’t he’ll be gone

Age means nothing in the grand scheme of things. Gabriel Jesus had time on his side but didn't stake a claim in the first team. Despite his goals Raheem Sterling's game too was really inconsisent

Pep is brillant in what he can do but there are definite limitations to Doku's game. He isn't going to start having Grealish's and Foden's technical qualities (same with with Doku's assets). He still does chip in but I don't see him starting in the bigger games in during the run in.
You've been a hater from day 1. Grealish isn't technically better than Doku.

Hater to who? Grealish or Doku? Grealish does keep the ball a lot better than Doku. What lets Grealish down is goals but both do make a good contribution in terms of the team. I did think Doku was something different to what, we have got and I thought he was reasonably priced but didn't have really high expectations of him. His injury hasn't helped with his overall consistency but not that isn't the sole cause.
