Last Film You Saw

King Arthur Legend of the Sword, Guy Ritchie take on Arthur, I quite like it, love the soundtrack and the much underrated Jude Law, 6.5/10

Argylle - 6/10 - Popcorn flick not to be taken too seriously, not in the same league as the Kingsman though.

Poor Things - 8/10 - Weird as fuck but Emma Stone is ridiculous(in a good way) in this.

Maestro - 7/10 - Enjoyed it, I'm no Bernstein fanatic so whether it was a bit light weight in that respect i couldn't say. Carey Mulligan is very good.

Oppenheimer - 7/10 (wife liked it more). Overall good stuff but i'm just not sure it needed to be 17 hours long.

The Holdovers - 9.5/10 - Alexander Payne directs very good movies imo. Loved everything about it. Da'Vine Joy Randolph was out of this world good.

The Promised Land [original title Bastarden] - Danish - historical - 7.5/10 (almost plays out as a Danish version of There will be blood, based on real events from mid XVII century Denmark, Mads Mikkelsen excellent as always

The Florida Project - American 'indie' drama - 10/10. Extraordinary, never understood how movie like this one do not get Oscar nominations, Willem Dafoe is in as the only known actor/name, just when you think Americans are not able to do poverty in movies, this one comes along.

57 Seconds.

Morgan Freeman reprises his Wise Old Man. There isn't anything new here - there's at least 3 films it blatantly steals from - but it's not too long and it's basically harmless.

Loved both those movies.

LOTR The Two Towers, fantastic middle of the trilogy, some dodgy CGI in places now as it’s upgraded to 4k, but Gollum is still a joy to watch. 9/10
