It’s another distorted story because it doesn’t include incoming transfers. City are not even in the top 20 for net spend while United have raised hardly anything from the duds they have bought.

United will be tittering right now. The strategy to castrate Newcastle with ffp is working and now they approach their sporting director. No idea if Ashworth is any good, but further evidence of United trying to the unsettle competition off the field. Newcastle fans need to put all their dreams on hold indefinitely due to ffp.

I think he was complaining about the Dog and duck and fc kebab, because that's the standard of team Celtic usually get put out by. The CL is a much better place without their fans stinking the place out.

I actually played in the same team as him in Florida, good lad, (co incidentally Darren Eales (NUFC CEO) was also an ex player - and Ashworth / Eales had a family connection, mates away from football too. Ashworth was a good tenacious midfielder as well...we ended up doing extra training together in the gym most morning 6.00 am b4 Florida heat! and talked football non-stop. He is dedicated, amazed his career took off like this though as he played semi pro level but to be tech director of the FA!! Hats off to him
