PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Not related to our ongoing case but it concerns the independent regulator and the impasse over a financial deal between the PL and EFL clubs. Looks like the PL are in a race against time and want it resolved prior to an independent regulator coming in, otherwise the regulator might decide on what sums of money need to be paid! There’s also reference in this article to us getting involved in a legal battle with the PL over the associated party rules that were recently voted on, but I’m not sure on the accuracy of that:

They do make it up as thy go along though that's the problem.

Correct. And I would imagine clarity of punishment is fundamental in law. If it isn't, it should be. You can't tell someone if you commit a crime you will either be fined or get a death penalty. If the PL was going to punish PSR breaches with sporting sanctions, they should have made that clear at the beginning imho. Having a cover all rule that says what sanctions (effectively from fine to "death" penalty) can be imposed for any breach doesn't cut it for me.

Totally agree and as I said I used to have a bit of sympathy towards Everton, but can't stand Dyche and the fuckers voted for the rule despite it being incomplete imo, so fuck em.

Always puzzled me how opening a tin of beans with your left foot (it’s always the left foot) is:
A. Possible
B. If possible, a nailed-on sign of footballing prowess, rather than suitability for the SAS.
 
Am I right in thinking that if City were proven guilty and relegated say at the end of the season, we'd still be able to play in the champions league? Imagine winning the FA Vase and Champions league in the same season.

I was going to knock it on the head after this season.
The way I'm feeling at the moment I'm not sure I'll bother going again .
Sold my ticket for the last 3 games including tonight.
Don't even think I can be arsed with the rags game

If we won it this season, then possibly. Otherwise we wouldn't qualify

Only if we qualified by winning it, then we would play in the champions league due to the Liverpool rule. Imagine if we were relegated and still took their place in the champions league based on the rule explicitly brought in to facilitate their participation when they failed to qualify on league placing.

Don't let the bastards grind you down ,but it's been constant since our takeover and I sympathise with you I'm getting to that point myself , the obvious bias not.just in the media but on the pitch no consistencies from officials , the attacks on us playing the best football this country has ever seen has now turned to boring because the redtops can't stomach any trophy we win , implementing ffp failed to stop us so they're constantly looking at ways to halt our progress and are now attacking our cfg model, how many changes have Gill and Co implemented to the CL since we crashed the party ? And now since all else has failed they have labelled us as cheats to the football world
