North Stand Construction Discussion

Anyone else in the Family Stand had an email today saying they’re being relocated next season?

There’s a window opening on Thursday to identify new seats.

Last summer, we received planning permission for the development of a best-in-class fan experience and year-round entertainment and leisure destination at the Etihad Stadium. You can read more about the Club’s plans here.



When we announced this, we informed fans that the North Stand’s capacity would be reduced during the 2024/25 and 2025/26 seasons while the expansion of the second tier was underway.



Ahead of the 2024/25 season, and the upcoming renewals window, we wanted to contact you, as a Season Ticket Member, to make you aware that your current seat is one of a small number of seats impacted by the upcoming development work.



As a result, you will be required to relocate to a different seat elsewhere in the Etihad Stadium from next season onwards.



We understand that this may be an inconvenience, and we are committed to finding an alternative seat which is right for you.

Would imagine you are in row P or R - ie the back 2 rows or tier 2? They were apparently the 2 knocked out when the South Stand was redeveloped so would imagine this is maybe the same.

I would think the yearly turnover of that kart track would cover the wages of Haaland for approx 1 day lol

Yeah back row, under the screen, which have been ace seats for us for 20 years so a bit hacked off but can’t be helped I guess.

Then after two years:


You will have the opportunity to relocate within or back to the North Stand of the Etihad Stadium following the completion of the expansion.
 
The foundations need to be more substantial the higher the tier is, because it has to bear more load. So the smaller block doesn’t need to be so big
 
When do you think city will realise a CGI of the new North Stand?

It would amazing if they had one of these in the North Stand a double-sided goal line bar , this is from Everton's new South Stand

Here is Everton South Stand which will be their "home end" the same as City North Stand

So can someone leapfrog the bar and get in to the ground ?
