Saw bits & pieces of the second half, but the first half of United was very tight and compact. Probably one of their best defensive performances this season. Some unlucky bounces saved City from their counterattacks and it could have been worse than 0-1. But it was kind of expected to tire eventually, read that both Rashford and Evans carried an injury and in normal condition wouldn't have played at all. The number of injuries many top sides around the leagues this season is worrying, Liverpool, United, Barcelona, and Bayern all ravaged at some point.

City & Arsenal have been luckiest in that term and it shows that they are doing good and contesting for the titles. We'll see if Liverpool gets some of their players back now or if they have to rely on kids longer.

I loved ETH's Ajax & I was quite buzzing to see what he could do in United, but this season has been so tough. I don't follow them in depth so I don't know if they have a plan now on how to prepare better for next season, but they need some quality additions and figure out how to outcome the injuries.

Haaland in particular and Foden should both have scored

Their squad is the most expensive ever assembled so a few injuries should be much easier to cope with, like Pep comped with City's injuries City have been far from "luckiest"

He originally purchased 25% of the shares ( a combination of both A & B shares) and then he put in another $300 million for stadium refurbishment, by purchasing new shears approx 2.7%. Therefore he holds somewhere between 27 an 28%, which to date have cost $1.6 billion

One rule for the rags and one rule for everyone else. Could you imagine the foaming at the mouth if City had appointed someone like Brailsford into the organisation?
 
Hold on a min. I just watched abit of the overlap with Ole and he said they had a structure in place when signing players. Scouts were meticulous and then they had a veto. The bosses above him had a veto, he had a veto on signings.

So what’s this all about not having a structure in place and just buying any player that city or Liverpool wanted? Ole was going on about layers and layers above him and working to a certain set of conditions ie a coach.

The whole drive now is off field recruitment will fix everything!!!

Scouts told Ole that Haaland wasn’t good enough for United hahahaha.

The club is a gift!
