I did a post on the title thread and we've conceded in the first 15 minutes quite regularly there and we don't come back from it. In recent seasons we've been much more controlled initially and made it to HT at 0-0. Even when we beat them 4-1 it was 0-0 at HT. Last season they had two chances, both for Salah. One came from De Bruyne trying a back heel in their box and them countering - Salah through on goal and Ederson with a great save. Then a De Bruyne free kick which was awful led to that Cancelo meltdown which Salah scored from.

Play it safe, clear our lines and don't take too many risks. Then look to impose ourselves when their intensity drops a bit and the crowd fall silent.

We have looked really poor especially in transitions in the middle, i think that's why Bernardo was seen calming everyone down in the derby the other day. If Liverpool are anything it's a transition side, the type of goal we conceded against the rags is their bread and butter. For that reason i would go super-controlling in this game, i'd even consider dropping Walker for Akanji but i don't think thats gonna happen:

I hope our players have the same mindset mate. I'm more concerned about us, than them. The Anfield hoodoo seems to be something that affects us every year, but with our form and their injuries, this is a real chance for us to get the win.

If we play our normal game, I'm confident we will have too much for them.

I hate Utd due to them being our neighbours & the way they continually put us down in the Fergie years but i have managed to hold decent conversations with a few of them over the years.
