PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

No, that's not what I'm saying. I can't see how you came to that conclusion either.
My bad i got the wrong end of the stick

I read your comment "TBF, he's not wrong is he? They tried to stop us but it was too late, too little. They're now trying to make sure they don't make the same mistake with Newcastle." and took it as the new rules would superseed the old ones :D .....i think i just want this 115 bullshit to be over with and will clutch onto anything

Newcastle United are currently showing how the cartel want FFP to work

It works with a club having the opportunity to improve and challenge the establishment

But no they are not allowed to do this because of rules that work for the benefit of the few

Now non MCFC and NUFC fans will shed no tears but unless they support the right clubs they face a future of merely making up the numbers and knowing their place

And that’s not City’s fault

The bin dippers are jumping on Ian Wrights comments with glee. But if you actually listen to what he said it sounded like he was pretty sympathetic to city and was suggesting these allegations will and should go away so pep and city get the recognition they deserve

His son still works for city and will still have close links to the inner sanctum of the club.

I interpreted it exactly that way. He basically said that we need the charges to be cleared so we can get the credit we really deserve.

I've not head his comments but have read the quotes and that was my takeaway too - that he wants it resolving and resolving in our favour

Thats how I heard it too. he was being complimentary to Pep & City. Paul Dickov tweeted legend to Ian Wright. Surely he must hear some stuff from SWP.

Then what he should have said is that the alleged breaches have nothing to do with Pep whatsoever therefore should not be used to detract from his achievements either directly or indirectly.

I think we've just been described as the horse that bolted before the stable door was locked in a reference to the PAS rules by SKY's new slimy Peter Drury in conversation with ratboy,
I recall having a similar conversation at Villa Park almost 10 years ago.

Publicly City will condemn everything to do with FFP and how it restricts teams like Newcastle, but privately,(and especially as we've been run so professionally both on and off the pitch) it probably suits us to have less teams on a level playing field.

TBF, he's not wrong is he? They tried to stop us but it was too late, too little. They're now trying to make sure they don't make the same mistake with Newcastle.
Also I understand United were fined after admitting they failed FFP.

They may be right in thinking we will "get away with it". In the absence of any evidence that means their gut feelings cannot be converted into factual events.

As near to an apology we can expect from cult followers.

I think our execs are genuine in their condemnation of ffp. They realise that if the PL is competitive, the TV income, especially from overseas, is maximised.

In 1999, the 75000 all seater Milennium Stadium with its retractable roof cost £121m to build.

CoMS with 5000 extra seats would've cost £29m more.

We essentially got stiffed to protect the status of London based Wembley, for no other reason than the government didn't want an English stadium built using government funds to compete with the £800m Wembley, hence the North of England got stiffed... AGAIN! ¯\_(⊙_ʖ⊙)_/¯
From a city ffp perspective an 80k with closing roof would be better as the revenue for concerts , boxing etc would 100 per cent go to the club. The co op arena will be discounted from our income ffp as none of the cartel clubs have a share in an arena but many of them hold events in their stadia.

Just back from a week in Tenerife and spent a rather enlightening and enjoyable evening chatting with a Reading fan.
Wow! He was passionate in his hatred of this Dai Yongge chancer. ( the kindest thing he called him )
When I made a daft joke about the infamous Thames Valley Royal’s Maxwell merger - he laughed and recognised I wasn’t a JCL. He wasn’t very nice about Oxford! Apparently a big money man who wanted control of Reading, who their supporters wanted, has buggered off to Oxford and has suddenly got them all excited.
He hated Arsenal, because they were Arsenal. Hated Liverpool because during the 70’s & 80’s they were always the ITV Big Match main game on a Sunday where he lived. Then he ’educated’ me on why nytid are called rags - he was spot on too!
Then he totally floored me! He was furious at the way we were being treated and said every other football supporter who wasn’t attached to the three red shit had had the scales lifted from their eyes and were starting to see the truth.
He wished us well for the future as did I to him.
Most Geordies were also completely different than this time last year in their take on the whole issue.
Slowly, slowly and all that.
The Reading supporter has really left an impression.
From small acorns maybe?

I would like to say believe me but it may sound condescending so I will rephrase it to, no ex player will get any info from our directors, like us they will just hear gossip. The board at City tell you only what they want you to know and that is they have plans in place for everything. The boardroom doors are shut tighter than a fish's backside and thats watertight;-)

Am I right in saying it’s not even 115 charges the amount of times 115 gets mentioned by pundits on Tv is crazy
Correct An argument could be made for 5,7,8 108 or 131 depending on how they get grouped up. 115 has never made any sense as if you don't group alleged offence x per season all the time what's the fucking point of doing it some of the time. 115 came up when some shit journo took his socks off to use as a jizz sock when the premier league released the original grossly incorrect statement. Unfortunately the poor fucker couldn't use his fingers & toes correctly due to them being stuck together, and the rest are too lazy & ignorant to count for themselves so 115 it is.

Liverpool fans while saying we’re not rivals and no one cares blah blah blah
At same time trying to call it a rivalry to make themselves look better and like they aren’t a distant second
Take out the champions league, club World Cup and super cup and put domestic titles on the table (no community shields here) like proper rivals
It’s city 11
Liverpool 4

TODAY.....

We are one more day closer to being cleared of all charges.

The internet will melt.

#stinnocentsday.

Manchester thanks you Sheikh Mansour

DELICIOUS !!
Thanks him for doing his best to price out all our original fans? Or for spending a tiny fraction of his wealth to buy great players?

You are right. These days virtually nothing leaks out of City's boardroom or the inner sanctum. In the past the whole club leaked like a sieve. It's what happens when an organisation is run professionally. In stark contrast look at the current state of our Trafford neighbours in terms of confidentiality.
