PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I think we will get done on something , the prem surely would not go there if nothing was going to stick ?
I think they have to now - imagine what would happened if they dropped everything. Even and independent commission not guilty finding could be framed by the PL as doing their job. I do wonder what the delay is though, given what Masters said before parliament

They've got fuck all of substance against us, so they're shitting it because of the expected backlash from the "Whatabout City" Crew.

This is an archetypal case of "If only we could wind the clock back to 2018, & forget this ever happened"... :-)

If I still worked in an office I would have some mugs printed up with that on and leave them hanging around.
Don’t forget that CAS reduced the UEFA non-cooperation fine to €10M was €30M (?) as they accepted City’s complaint about the confidential Investigative Chamber leaked confidential information

Maybe they didn’t anticipate that there would be this much furore over our case. When they put that statement out that they’d referred the breaches to an independent commission, they said they’d be making no further comment in the meantime. It’s possible that they’re that far removed from reality that they thought after the initial media reaction it would die down until the verdict was announced. Trouble is, every time another club gets charged or punished, our case gets dragged into the discussion.
