PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

It’s more like picking up a bag of Maltesers and before you get to the checkout being arrested and separately charged for each individual sweet contained in the bag.
More like being heard saying you might steel a bag of Maltesers. Then being arrested and separately charged for each individual sweet in the bag.

I don't think so. The PL statement listed 5 separate headings, multiplied by years and rules.

The rules are fairly generic so I can't see a scenario where the IC say we've breached rule E39 in 2015/16 but not rule E40. Or that we've breached E39 in 2015/16 but not in 2016/17.

The motivation could well have been to make it look much worse than it really is though.
That last part is spot on. I wouldn’t be surprised if they are using the Everton & Forest case to scare city into a compromise.

I'm absolutely convinced, that on the day of reckoning, whichever way this case goes, the internet will fucking melt.
@Ric you'd better start a Go Fund Me page to get @Damocles out of retirement for One One Five the Apocalypse. He's our only hope.

I think I'm going to make one post on here and then leave the internet for 2 weeks.

So many journalists and pundits let alone fans have fully convinced themselves we're guilty no matter the verdict.

Just to complete the analogy: like being heard saying you might steal a bag of Maltesers and then being charged for each single Malteser in every single bag that had ever gone missing .....

Remember our chairmans words, "we have irrefutable evidence". This is a fight to the finish, City will not settle till they are completely and totally exonerated. There will be no compromise;-)

And they have painted themselves into such a corner, they cannot possibly countenance that they might be wrong, despite what logic should be telling them loud and clear.

If you were to borrow some Maltesers, suck off the chocolate, then replace the centres from whence they came - surely you cannot be charged with Malteser theft?
