Mauricio Macri, former president of the Nation and of Boca, held a meeting with Khaldoon Al Mubarak and Florentino Pérez , the highest authorities of Manchester City and Real Madrid.
The head of the FIFA Foundation had a conclave with the leaders of the Citizens and Merengue in Manchester, which occurred last week, during the rematch of the Champions League quarterfinals, in which the Spanish team won by penalties to advance to the round.
It is not the first time that Mauricio Macri visits the Manchester City facilities. Last year, he was there on the day of qualification for the Champions League final, precisely against Real Madrid.
In fact, he even participated in the intimate celebration (with a scarf from the English team) and also a photo with Pep Guardiola, the team's coach.
The former Argentine president between 2015 and 2019 had been invited by Khaldoon Al Mubarak, president of the English entity, after the Premier League leader had just equaled the first match of the tie 1-1 at the Santiago Bernabéu.
