Why are people making any connection between Jack leaving and Musiala coming?

Haven't got a clue about Jack probably bullshit but the 2nd half against Madrid he switched to Jacks position which he normally plays.

Where was Musiala most effective last night? It was in the position where jack plays and it's not coincidence that's where he's most effective statically, now it's obvious that if he was to come he would take that role and with doku already an able backup jack would be the one to move as he wouldn't wanna be reduced to a role of a backup, secondly if it were to happen then the acquisition cost of Musiala would be lower than trying to buy it from Bayern without a player involved and you can't have 3 players for one position.

Also my suspicion. Which is hopefully why we'll be all over Guimares/Paqueta this summer. I get the reasoning that Musiala hasn't renewed as of yet and isn't interested in playing under Ralf Rangnick but I don't see a world where Bayern sells their most valuable player to us.

I'll assume a Musiala transfer is a pipe dream until he signs on the dotted line to become a City player.

We are not stupid, there must be serious interest from the player, but the biggest issue could be Ralf.

Musiala playing from Ralphie or Pep....mmmmmmm
