I am expecting some sort of statement will be issued before the hearing stating that no further action will be taken, i suspect we will give the PL a way to save face to an extent and we will get some punishment for failing to co-operate.

Something along the lines of, City were found not to have broken the rules but could have brought this to an earlier conclusion if they had provided the information required, as such a settlement of £xxx million has been agreed for non-co-operation, and this will close the matter in full.

In effect clears us of wrongdoing but also allows the PL to save face.

Not acceptable. Didn't UEFA President Ceferin recently say that City got away with it at CAS and that everyone knows it. That's what you get when we accept a 'pinch' and we have to make sure that these accusers never have even the slightest bit of ammunition to fire at us again. Put it to bed once and for all.

People shouldn't get too hung up on proof. The only proof that letters have been sent will be if someone who got a letter shows it to the watching world. The only proof that the club has been found innocent will be when PL and club statements are issued. In the meantime, we can only make educated guesses based on what we hear and, like refereeing, that will always be subjective.

We are going to get penalised for non co-operation , its the only thing the Premier league have to save face , we have been accused of fraud on a grand scale involving multi-national companies , these companies will not open their accounts for the Premier to peruse , it will never happen.
So the fact the Premier league cannot retrieve the information they need the non co-operation is the only stick to beat us with , Masters and his cohorts have no juristricition outside the football world they are not the law and they will look like fools at the conclusion of this witch hunt.
We will get a hefty fine similar to the CAS verdict which will give the ammuntion for pundits to state we must have done something wrong , which was basically the same premise the media used with the UEFA charges
We keep out titles , cups , records , manager , players , was looking forward to a trip to Haig Avenue and an enthralling game against the mighty Sandgrounders (Southport F.C.) but alas it looks like the Beranbeu and Allianz Arena awaits.

Why do they have to save face….. An investigation does not have to find someone guilty to prove they are competent. They should have learnt that from the postmasters inquiry.
