PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I don't think any apology can rectify the amount of damage that has been caused.
In the eyes of the average sun reading, beer swigging, football fan,we cannot possibly be innocent......as 'oil money' is dirty and a number as high as 115 cannot equate to any other outcome.

The media have done a proper no smoke without fire job on us,and it has been lapped up by halfwits everywhere.
And quarterwits like Spitty **** faced wanker.

Chelsea have been fined by uefa
Surely the PL will now have to investigate all Chelsea's accounts going back to 2009 because they have admitting submitting "partial accounts" for a seven-year period.

The rags and dippers dont understand our Club is run by top class world business people.
These people aren't just running CFC but other big organisations. Very experienced people who are use to working at the very top of their field of expertise.

The rags and dippers are putting their faith in the PL run by old gits with blazers and comb overs.

It is unbelievable that the PL really think our people have been fiddling the books for over a decade. Top top world business people fiddling the books lol really why would they risk their reputations, their careers etc just for City ?
This argument is the one that makes me most nervous.

Obviously we're not talking about the kind of dodgy, small-time wheeler dealers that have messed up clubs like Bury in the past, but the argument that rich, powerful men who run huge, multi-national businesses always follow the rules, clearly doesn't hold up. The world is full of dodgy rich and powerful men who have bent the rules to make themselves even more rich and powerful.

Then I see another poster sharing pictures of Putin and Xi - would you trust either of them? The UAE has done business with Trump as well as Obama, and he's not exactly Mr Probity.

I honestly think that the PL case will fail, mainly because some of the more outlandish stories about us are almost certainly bullshit, but also because the rules just aren't capable of dealing with a complex situation like our ownership. However, to suggest it's because powerful men follow the rules, because they worry about their reputations, is where I start to worry!

united's losses were £230m over a 3 year period. The allowable losses were £105m.

The narrative that it was 'minor' was set by united and regurgitated by the press.

I think there are all sorts of parts of that figure that can be excluded and covid regs allow more for the period in question.
"minor breakeven deficit" is the wording on the UEFA website.
The fine was about £260k - it was minor after all excluded items were considered. The figures you quote are before accounting for allowed exclusions.

Because chelsea was forced to sell maybe they'll get a bit of leeway but there was dodgy as fcuk accounting by the Russian all the while pointing the finger towards us!
