Liverpool, United and Arsenal have exercised a quite clinical manipulation of the football authorities whilst masquerading as a force for the universal good of football.

Their orchestration of the media agenda has been systematic, constant, vicious and remorseless.

Very few people have talked about them in that way. It never happened. Nothing ever happened. Even while it was happening, it wasn't happening. It didn't matter. It was of no interest.

These three clubs along with Spurs were the drivers for the Super League and never seem to get a hard time for it. It’s no coincidence that the Super League arose after the Uefa case was chucked out by CAS, it’s also no coincidence that 115 charges happened after the super league was torpedoed. If this group of clubs don’t get their own way their dummies come out. Do you think the Premier League would have given a fuck where Mancini’s wages came from if City were languishing in mid table and not breaking up their cosy monopoly? I very much doubt it.

Agree with this to a degree. But I also think that the reason it is so damaging is because its been reported in a way that amplifies the damage done with half stories and half-truths to build the narrative that the damage is all due to one club.

It seems that Arsenal supporters have suddenly discovered Der Spiegel or some of the other bits that have been around for months or even years.

I’ve seen loads of reposts about the British Embassy speaking to UAE about the charges like it’s a new embassy exclusive - ffs that came out months ago.

Don’t let them dictate your emotions. We as fans may not like it but the club must have a long term plan otherwise it makes no sense not to attack the media. They haven’t let us down yet. I just hope playing the long game works.

I love that we have broken them and let’s be honest here. City fans are not considered part of the football mainstream. Our humour is what sets us apart and a big reason why fans of clubs who ain’t the red tramps are ok with us winning.
