Trophy Parade | Sunday 26th May, 19:30

Thundery showers

With low pressure close by, we are expecting some thundery showers to spark off on Sunday and bank holiday Monday.
These showers could pop up almost anywhere, and with light winds and extra energy from daytime heating they could be torrential and slow-moving.
If you get a shower you will certainly know about it and are likely to spot the cloud building in advance. It's a game of chance.
For many of us it will stay dry and sunny and you could be be completely oblivious to torrential downpours happening just a mile or so away. In the best of the sunshine, temperatures will once again climb a little above the average for the time of year.

Are the PL going to have this gold trophy thingy ready for the parade?

I hope the stage is in a different place. It actually felt a bit dangerous last year, as there was too many people for quite a small area in my opinion. Couldn’t even get near it

Hope I’m wrong but this has PR disaster all over it.

No one in town anyway on Sunday nights. Pissing it down. People hungover from Wembley the day before.

I think things like this are dated. We all got to celebrate together last week. 54,000 at full time. Happy days.

Just let the players enjoy Wembley with the 35,000 there then go off for some well deserved rest at FT.
Coming back to Manchester just to wave on a bus when they could be off to sunnier climes on Saturday night is pointless.

Just my view though.

Find it hard to argue with that.

Did we? There’s huge number of long standing city fans who don’t go to city games anymore. For whatever reason.

I’d also say the parade is for the people of Manchester, who the club represent, not just for people who happen to be able to afford a season ticket or expensive matchday tickets.

I’d bet last year there were more non season ticket holders. Also no one in town on a bank holiday weekend?
