If United or Liverpool dominate for the next 10 years the media would absolutely love it. GuaranteedI have come to the conclusion that there is only one thing more disliked by the media in this sorry 'state' of ours than Manchester City, and that is any sporting domination by Manchester City.
I was puzzled by the pro rag lexicon of Shearer during the game. When did he become such a tubthumper for the rags?
That 2nd penalty shout being described as good defending, just using his strength? Then saying the opposite about the challenge on poundland Haaland at the other end says it all.
The media can't have domination in the league. The English game is sold on its competitive field. If you have City winning too much it spoils the brand, which in turn dilutes the brand, which risks viewers turning away from it.......and THAT is why we see so many media cunts down playing our brilliance.
City winning everything is bad for their careers. The media must see a close competition or their whole product becomes stale.
On the upside, I believe this negativity will happen to any team that dominates from now on. Broadcasters, journalists, industry officials, and social media nobs, will all need engagement. When that drops their income drops.
And you don't fuck with someone's butty without kickback!!!!
Only if it didn't cause 'the product' damage. If United or Liverpool dominate for the next 10 years the media would absolutely love it. Guaranteed
There's only one guarentee, and that's income stream. You can guarantee if the rags liverpool or even arsenal dominate there would be no such negativity

I don't believe that is true with modern media. The whole industry is built on confrontation and challenge. That's what sells.I suspect that any miraculous domination by the rags or dippers would be actually be greeted in the most positive manner possible by our highly principled and discerning media whores.
Whores follow the money, and rags / dippers have the largest following of dumb punters just begging to be robbed.
Shearer and Mowbray on BBC Were a disgraceI have come to the conclusion that there is only one thing more disliked by the media in this sorry 'state' of ours than Manchester City, and that is any sporting domination by Manchester City.

But, I hope to never find out.
Isn't the 115 the purest definition of confrontation and challenge you are ever likely to see?No problem with you having a different opinion, but if there is so much " confrontation and challenge " within the modern media , I don't see evidence of any of them having the courage to offer a different opinion on the likelihood of City's guilt under the PL charge of aka " the 115 charges ".
That would appear to be " what sells " in the eyes of the media .
Yep. They would never be charged, not even investigated. The rags and dippers are the product that's why there's so many cock suckers in the industry
They were. But the BBC are on the same page as the other media Johnny's. Domination spells trouble and must be stopped.Shearer and Mowbray on BBC Were a disgrace

They don't care about guilt or innocence, or even if it is City. They care about income stream and what generates more of it.
This would be a story if it was the red tops, but will never happen because the football authorities wouldn't charge them.
So they prey on the club that can be charged.
A game is played at a level above the grass, and the rules are not clear or written by anyone. Money makes those rules.
I honestly don't think if any of the red triplets dominated it would cause any damage to the product . In the first nine seasons of the PL , united won 7 titles . That legacy set the narrative , look at the choice of pundits at each televised game for a start.Only if it didn't cause 'the product' damage.
BBC Scotland are 100% OK with one club dominaton, so long as it’s the bheasts from the eastThey were. But the BBC are on the same page as the other media Johnny's. Domination spells trouble and must be stopped.
It is the only reason to see Shearer be so pro utd in that game.
The media will go for anything and anyone that makes them money.Ok whatever. More confused by your first post now but fine.
That's a different era. The last 30 years have changed society beyond recognition.I honestly don't think if any of the red triplets dominated it would cause any damage to the product . In the first nine seasons of the PL , united won 7 titles . That legacy set the narrative , look at the choice of pundits at each televised game for a start.
Arsenals 'invicibles' are still lauded Twenty Years on . Klopp has been celebrated as one of the great managers of the PL despite his team only winning it once , whereas our 100 point or domestic treble seasons are barely mentioned. We are the interlopers and they don't like it.
Society likes to have some form of structure. People are comforted by it. They like familiarity. It may annoy lots on here, but the red tops have wormed their way into the league like limpets.BBC Scotland are 100% OK with one club dominaton, so long as it’s the bheasts from the east
Yeah - I made very good use of that too yesterday. And don't forget the City fan's favourite button on the remote - the mute!
