I think where I disagree with Tolmie is when he mentions Savio and Bobb. Rodrygo is more of a finished article then Bobb or Savio. I think you always skews toward taken the finished article if the money makes sense. If the money is 150 million then you probably focus on the upcoming talent.

I would have him for 100m. Pure quality, makes us better right away.

I actually think we have a better relationship behind the scenes with Madrid than people realise. Khaldoon meeting Perez at CL games, super league, Abu Dhabi investing in their new stadium etc. By no means do I think this means we will sign him but it certainly helps. There is also huge mutual respect due to the games the last 3 years.

Madrid and their fans have been very respectful and appreciative of our team over the past few years. I used to hate them but I don't mind them at all anymore. Seem happy to battle us on the pitch and keep it classy off it. Perez is the ultimate football Chairman in my opinion aswell. A winner who has brought consistent success.

I would agree they aren’t real fans. Just muppets following a successful team.

I had no issues with any United fans in London last week and I saw and spoke to a lot. Yet when I got home to Winchester which is an incredibly nice city I had constant abuse and actually had people square up to me. There is something about fans that aren’t actually fans. They speak when they can and disappear when they have no narrative.
