Also, just a bit further up than Norton Tyres there’s another car park that used to be an auction house. They’ve now completely rebranded as Premier Parking and from the looks of it you can pre book a space.
Weren’t advertising the price though…

Plenty parking and free other side of Ashton Old Road. 15 minute walk.
Will use it again for Eagles gig next Friday :)

Greedy bastards. We usually use them but tend to walk in from town for the last match of the season so missed this news. The fella collecting the money there previously told us he was trying to convince the owners not to put the price up but the fact he volunteered this information to us suggested that they would be doing so. It’s annoying when there’s a group of 4 (like ours) as it’s £5 each minimum on the bus so still cheaper to park but it’s the principle.

We went on Saturday. You won’t be disappointed.
Very impressed with the arena. Although £9 a pint makes you wince. Went in a couple of different bar areas that we were lucky enough to be given access to and as you’d imagine, they were lovely.
I’m at the pet shop boys on Sunday and Liam Gallagher a couple of weeks later. Despite all the delays and dramas I think it’s a site we should be very proud of.
