First line of the details of what they plan to do... "Increase floor standing capacity"

If your releasing a plan to try to keep up with a brand new state-of-the-art purpose built venue down the road, you surely focus on the improvements your going to try to make to the acoustics, visitor experience etc. and slip the 'increase capacity ' bit in at the end.

It reads a bit like "we'll just cram more of you in to make more money" if you start with that?
Surely "Increase floor standing capacity" just means cram more people into the existing space :-0

They should have to list their tickets on the exchange.

The rule should be if you don’t turn up and don’t list you ticket on the exchange for x amount of games, then you lose priority to renew.
The Chief Op Officer said that if people can't go, they should put them on the exchange and it will count as being used. If it sells City can get the full mstchday price. They are aware people can't go for various reasons and are sympathetic. People who don't meet the minimum matches/put on exchange target will not lose their tickets automatically but the club will ring them to see how they can help. Seems fair to me and for me.

It took a rival coming along to make them start spending anything on the place. They have never spent a penny on improving the tired concourses, consession stand/bars etc. Let alone the venue's most glaring problem from day one .... terrible acoustics. Unless you are in the expensive seats front and centre, the sound is shocking. It has had manya sound engineer close to tears. :-)
Even the artist's backstage areas and dressing rooms, are tired and functional at best that has been the cause of many a diva's complaint.

But the owners didn't care a jot, just happy to keep reaping the profits, and stuff the punters. Now they have to do something pretty drastic, beyond 'expanding standing space' to begin to compete with the Co-Op.

Ring us? They won’t even pick up when you dial them!
