Be a farmers cup then, followed by ten years of in depth investigation of City's accounts.Hopefully the CL won’t be boring again next season when City win it for the 2nd time instead of Real Madrid winning it for the 16th time.

I would agree but would also argue that our going deep into LC/FAC may have cost us.Its just too much for us.Gonna post something controversial..
We had a real chance and should be 4 in a row CL champions but blew 3 of our 4 chances since 2021 when we were clearly the better team vs Chelsea and 2 years vs RM.
We need to improve at cup knockout football.

Shame we couldn't have been there last night. The team were fantastic throughout the competition, just couldn't take our chances when we dominated Real. Its really amazing, the hold they have on this competition.

It wasn’t just not taking our chances, it was conceding stupid goals which was a recurring theme all season. Fortunately we got away with it in the one that mattered most.Shame we couldn't have been there last night. The team were fantastic throughout the competition, just couldn't take our chances when we dominated Real. Its really amazing, the hold they have on this competition.

Not sure that's 100% right mate 2 of the goals in Madrid were deflections, we can do nothing about that we didn't take our chances and need a bit of luck IMO.It wasn’t just not taking our chances, it was conceding stupid goals which was a recurring theme all season. Seem to have more than their fair share of luck too, we outplayed them in Madrid two bits of luck kept them in it for second leg where KDBs misses open goal he scores 99 times out of 100. In cup competitions best side doesn’t always win.Shame we couldn't have been there last night. Real Madrid have been dealing with players having big egos for many years. The players know the club is bigger than them and generally behave. The new CL format looks shit with even more meaningless games in the early stages and less chance of any upsets. I can’t see what these changes bring. There should be more knock- out games.To be fair they are probably more used to a better WiFi connection.
