PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Out with an arsenal fan ST holder last night he brought it up but when asked he could not name one charge.

I ripped him a new one I don't think I will be invited again....shame : )

I have only read the headline as that's what fans of other clubs do. no point reading anything else my confirmation bias kicked in and it proves liverpool are sponsored by a bank that funds terrorism. They needs expelling from the premier league, stripped of any trophies won in the last 100 years, the ground needs to be reduced to ashes and any mention of the club going forward will result in a 65 year prison sentence to be served in a work camp in North Korea. If this isn't reasonable I dont know what is.

I do that on a regular basis, but the charges are not the problem, it is the fact everybody knows the punishments, the media have repeatedly pounded the knowledge into us. But no one knows what happens if City are innocent, or how it will affect their Club,a criminal dereliction of duty by the press, even on these pages we do not discuss enough what we would want.

It’s the interesting watching the cogs go round in rags head when you highlight that if there was any wrong doing by City and their management team, United wouldn’t have hired a key player in City’s management structure who would have known what was going on to be their ceo. It’s a ringing endorsement by their club that they are actively chasing and recruiting City employees into key positions at the swamp, if everything City has done is bad and against the rules why are Radcliffe and the Glazers trying to recreate it.
 
this liverpool thing is terrible for the pls case against us, now i know we cant do whataboutery but i would think reasonable questions have to be asked as to why they are absolutely adamant that we cooked the books and had a forensic investigation going back ten years to try and prove it while all the while approving of a banking sponsor that has been charged not once but twice of falsifying records to the point where the government had to step in, not a single one of our sponsors or people involved have been charged multiple times with such offences.

Its no wonder that coutinho money went so far.

If Standard Chartered sponsored City it would have our name all over the headline. Subtle differences like this make less of an impact on those that don’t go beyond that first glance.

Joe Lewis at Spurs being done for fraud and insider trading facing jail time. Hasn’t the ownership of the club been signed over to his daughter? I wonder what would happen if you started ripping up the floor boards there and going through their accounts, they are one of the most up to their eye balls in debt clubs in world football. Yet Daniel Levy uses the Premier League to conduct a witch hunt against City.

This may mean nothing and I could of imagined it I'm a foc you see.But I'm sure sheik mansour was interested in buying or investing in standered chartered therefore would have had access to the books wonder if there was anything of interest involving the scousers?

whether there was or not you can guarantee that city will have been gathering their own intel and its virtually impossible to assume that all the other clubs are squeaky clean.

Rags have a massive tax bill to pay as they were using a similar player image rights scheme to which City are being charged for. There’s a reason Radcliffe is pushing redundancies on their staff to get the wage bill down. None of these teams are whiter than white.
