Congeats on discovering im not southgate, doesnt discredit my point though. This friendly tonight, before the tournament has even started has proven my point. Its Southgate there is no relevance to how pep or ancelotti play. If he wants 3 strikers just in case or wants to use 2 to chase a goal late on that's fine, you don't pick the team or tactics sunshine
The thing about the defence is walker/trippier/trent all have a habit of bombing forward up the wings leaving you open to the counter.... Fine in the group but not in knockout stage.Got some brilliant players but the balance of the squad feels a bit off, defence looks weak and we’re in big trouble if Stones gets injured. Trippier also had an up and down season compared to the previous one and playing him at LB will unbalance us a bit. Will be a shame if Foden gets chucked out on the wing once Bellingham is back

I'm not much of a TAA fan but I think his goal in the first friendly and some decent forward passing in the second might play him into contention to feature at some point. He's had 2 subsitute appearances and in both, although he hasn't exactly set the world alight, he has at least done something to try to get the team forward.
The wrong thread for this postThe moment Boulders went down I knew he couldn't continue, but he soldiered on to half-time. I just hope to fuck he hasn't done any serious damage because my hatred for internationals will grow and grow.
I have a mild interest in what my country does regarding football, but I have an all-consuming obsession with what City do.
Theres zero chance we will sell him nor should we.The wrong thread for this post
Stones is probably our best centre half, but his fitness is totally unreliable
If City received any half decent offer, I’d sell
Problem is, no one’s got any money
