He looked miles off it today, cant see him playing next game.
Don't know why most posters wouldn't admit this. Even Mainoo took on defenders today. Phil played Jack todayHe didn’t attempt to take on the 37 year old right back once. He’ll never have a good international career if he’s so timid every time he plays.
This is it, hes playing like someone who has confidence in his ability. Which is quite incredibe from what we've seen this season. He didn’t attempt to take on the 37 year old right back once. He’ll never have a good international career if he’s so timid every time he plays.
He was never in a position to take him on. Trippier was playing wide left.He didn’t attempt to take on the 37 year old right back once. He’ll never have a good international career if he’s so timid every time he plays.
He was awful in the first game. Tonight, he was just quiet, but who wasn't of the attackers?Sorry Phil, I love you man but you were fucking awful today.
Needs to start being more forceful, he's just been Voted the best player in the Premier league...so act it PhilHe was awful in the first game. Tonight, he was just quiet, but who wasn't of the attackers?

Hard to disagree with any of that. He's my favourite player, but he has to do more.I’ve got a bit of sympathy for him as Bellingham’s positioning is all over the place and causing massive issues for both the attack and the defence, but he’s been poor too. His own positioning tonight wasn’t offering much at all, he was going where there clearly wasn’t going to be a pass on to him and it wasn’t creating space either.
I think anyone would struggle due to that midfield though so I’d rather he take Foden out than leave him on on a hiding to nothing, regardless of how poor he’s been, and then bring him on in either the centre or the right wing as an impact sub.
I knew that stupid comment would come.Fucking hell even so called blues are on his back now he’s playing out of position for a shite team with a shite manager
Fucking idiots
So Bellingham and Kane have delivered have they ? Whilst in there positions
Meanwhile Phil gets 7 minutes in the position where he’s been the best in league
Yes that’s fucking stupid
Well, to a point you’re bang on. I expected him to struggle once that goon of a manager didn’t pick Grealish, meaning Foden would be out of position on the left. However he’s still good enough to have done much better from the left and was able to drift in plenty 2nd half. From an England point of view as he’s not going to move position they’d probably be more balanced without him in the team.I think it’s a travesty he’s not the main man but that’s where we are now in the tournament.Fucking hell even so called blues are on his back now he’s playing out of position for a shite team with a shite manager

You are actually accusing Foden to just be a system player you know that right.
The team is good, the coach is absolutely shit yeah, but still Bollockingham and Kane delivered the goods, which Foden doesn‘t do for England.
Which honestly as a non British guy can‘t care less. I need Foden just to deliver for City, but saying Foden is playing shit because you have a shit coach actually equals to Foden only is playing good for City because of our Legendary coach known as Pep Guardiola.
Foden has way too much individual class to not deliver for England.
