This has become increasingly more problematic...With the amount of persistent fouling and kicking Referees are allowing on City players they won't last a month.

Not all in match day thread slag the players, we have some positive posters with a balanced opinion who talk sense and i used to enjoy reading their views. But every time it isn't going well, especially when we concede the first goal that's when it most often becomes toxic. Certain players get dogs abuse and most of it is uncalled for. When i go to games i don't go on Bluemoon till well after the game ends and i never read match day threads. The games i haven't been to i just watch on TV without any distractions from reading posts and have only been on the in game thread twice this season at HT to read a few comments before the 2nd half starts whilst the adverts are on.Not that it makes me better than anyone else or anything like that, but it's just a thing for me. I have never been to the match day thread, ever. The game is the spectacle and who needs to "listen" to a bunch of supposed supporters slagging off the squad and its players for 90+ minutes only for those same woman and moaners to be proven wrong a large majority of the time especially over the past 6+ years. Pre-match and post-match I'm all in, but from whistle to whistle the match is off limits to any white noise...JMO.
I can only imagine what goes on in there...Not all in match day thread slag the players, we have some positive posters with a balanced opinion who talk sense and i used to enjoy reading their views. I admire the mods who have to try and meditate the madness when fans are at each others throats.
Yeah my New Year’s resolution is to stop going on the match day thread. I mean someone called Foden Frauden last night- before he scored. Not just a shite take but he probably had his great pun ready for when we went behind. Not all in match day thread slag the players, we have some positive posters with a balanced opinion who talk sense and i used to enjoy reading their views. Or just be realistic and realise that no player plays at ‘8/10’ every week. The lad is a generational talent, he’s won the World Cup with England, and everything at club level playing multiple positions. He’s City through and through and the sooner people fully support him the better he’ll be.Thing is, Foden has that much talent and ability that we all want and hope he gives 8 and 9 out of 10 performances every game. So when he gives a 7 out of 10 performance, which is totally acceptable, we can feel a little dissapointed and leave us expecting more. In most other sides he would be the main man, someone who everything goes through, and that would help him to shine. We have to accept that we have other brilliant players, the likes of Bernardo Silva and De Bruyne, so he will have games where he's not the player you're talking about come the end of the game.

Won the kids one 6 years agoCome again?
Once upon a time we had a cavalier forward line that overwhelmed sides with movement ,pace and goals. Now we have to pass backwards, sideways endlessly until someone like Phil breaks out of the group coma and actually has a go at goal.
