PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Just to take a step back for a minute and look at the lay of the land - Commercial Businesses still signing up with us, Hedge funds still going into partnership with us, Agents and players still willing to come to us, other clubs planning to use our model. None of this shit makes sense in the real world. All these entities would absolutely NOT go anywhere near us with a ten foot barge pole if there was even a whiff of wrong doings.

That's before you start on the implications for states and politicians, accountants, solicitors, auditors etc.

It feels like we are being dragged into even considering it.

It may sound daft, but liken it a person being interviewed under caution at a Police station. He states No Comment to every question. Now he eventually goes to court and gets acquitted. But the judge says 100 pound fine for non cooperation with the police enquiries. Don't think that will happen. But the PL think it's OK?

I’ve had this very argument with loads of opposing fans.

FFS not even guilty yet
I think people need to read and reflect rather than react. The point I made is in relation to a guilty verdict which is delivered and the punishment that is likely to result. I have as any sensible person should not reached a conclusion on the likely outcome. I hope that the Clubs blanket refusal to accept the validity of these charges and to protest innocence will result in a satisfactory outcome.

Am I the only sadistic motherfucker that would probably enjoy us getting deducted 70 points, staying up then winning the CL to play on it the following season? Fuck I'd even take us winning the FA Cup to finally get a crack at getting our hands on that lovely UEFA Cup

They can do what they want. We aren't going anywhere ever again

STOP PRESS
SCOTUS (FA Division) has decreed that Khaldoon and the good Sheik have absolute immunity and can break every rule in the book without fear of prosecution.
Easy this immunity stuff.

Everyone is entitled to their own interpretation of the breaches, I have no problem with that. But what in your view happens to the PL, the red tops +1 if City are cleared at the tribunal and Khaldoons words, " irrefutable evidence" are ringing in their ears. In this instance I would leave out any view on non cooperation.
Our top notch, smart arse lawyers will have absorbed Lawtons hit piece as conclusive evidence as to why we didn't cooperate. It's in THEIR handbook clubs should act in good faith to each other and it's not the first time Woolwich FC have been involved.
Never felt more confident even though the media tossers in particular the journalists are irritating.

Hope this one gets pointed out specifically in the hearing, accompanied by a closing wha-wha-wha-whaaaaa...comic sound effect.

It's weird. He comes across as a British Boehly. He has a basic understanding of football from being British, which Boehly doesn't have, but he has the same fondness for opening his mouth before knowing what he is talking about. Boehly has been relatively quiet for a year or so, thank God. Ratcliffe should do the same, get on with what he has to do and only open his mouth when he has achieved something in football and knows what he is talking about.
No.
SJ should keep opening his clanging manhole cover of a mouth.
That way, in 3years time, when they are supposed to be competing with City (but aren't), he will be called out on it and that rotten club will be in even more disarray than it currently is.
That is my hope anyway!

My own view is that it is likely to be a huge points penalty introduced during next season or the 25/26 season. Probably enough to relegate us to the Championship but definitely sufficient to knock us out of Europe. I just don't think they will attempt to relegate us into oblivion.
“Probably enough to relegate us?”
So more than 60 points deducted?
Christ I thought I was pessimistic when it came to City.

They would have to have powerful new evidence against us and nothing I’ve seen supports that idea.

Irrefutable Evidence
Until I see anything else I will back the club/Khaldoon to the hilt.

I like your thinking. But if those twats do manage to get rid of us they’ll make sure we can never come back that’s what all this is about
